While I like the spreadsheet idea, I'd suggest just using a simple text file with numbered entries.

In this way, you can jot down notes and stories. Things you'd particularly like to remember.

The next 10 years will go by faster than you think, and memories will fade. A few notes will be a treasured keepsake.
