Is there any meds to help with early ejaculation?

My wife recently had sex and said her partner lasted an hour. She went in and the guy had her bent over for an hour and she said he never took a break. She was wore out and walking chalky after. What can I take for early ejaculation? I only last a couple minutes. 5 minutes if I’m lucky. Any help is appreciated

I have the sildenafil 100 mg but it doesn’t do anything different for me. I don’t even notice that I took any meds.

Not medical advice, but most SSRI’s eg paroxetine at doses lower than therapeutic do delay ejaculation . Ask your doctor .

SSRI’s will most definitely increase your stamina… by a lot! I used to last a few minutes, which was perfect for my wife. Now it’s 5-10 minutes if I don’t have any alcohol. If I’ve been drinking, I can go forever. The downside is sometimes I simply cannot cum after drinking. I sure can the next morning though.

You asked about meds, but maybe also try edging yourself on a regular basis. Watch porn and stroke yourself until you get close, next slow down or pause for a short while, and then get close again. Repeat as necessary. Practice this a few times a week.

Also, sex isn't necessarily finished after we ejaculate. We can use our mouths, hands, and toys to continue pleasuring our wives and girlfriends. I think this doesn't even occur to most people.

Your doctor should have no problem suggesting solutions for that.

Before SSRIs, I'd recommend trying low dose ED meds
Fewer side effects

Who needs meds for this? Here are some tips:

Make sure your bladder is completely empty before sex. If you are holding urine, you cannot last.

Thrusting makes you cum quicker whereas going balls deep and rocking your pelvis so that your pubic bone rubs against her clitoris makes her cum quicker.

By mixing and matching thrusting and rocking, you can help her to orgasm and hold off your own.

To add variety and interest, try a mixture of:
thrusting and rocking
pulling slowly all the way out and pushing all the way in so she can feel the length of it
fast and slow
gentle and vigorous
fucking and making love

And take your time. It’s great to look at each other, exchange a range of kisses from tiny nibbles to full on french kissing. And so many other places to kiss!..

I’m sure that if you try out all of this, you won’t need any meds at all.

Good luck and tell us how it goes.

There are desensitizing wipes and sprays you can get over the counter at walmart, CVS, Amazon. I would definitely give them a try. I think I'm just more sensitive and the wipes don't completely numb me, but definitely take the edge off.

The problem with desensitizing wipes is that if you're bare, some of that gets on your partner, desensitizing them as well.

Are the desensitizing wipes better than the desensitizing lube? And will they cause any reaction/rash on female? Does she need to douche after to clean it out?

All you need to do is Kegel Exercises for an hour or two before play time.

Since I am over 70 years of age I will take a generic sildenafil two hours before hand and start doing the Kegels. On a good day she will be "rubber legged" and beg me to finish. There are times that I cannot release but that's ok by me as I value her pleasure over mine.

Keep in mind that some positions are more to your advantage than others pursuant to sensitivity. It has been my experience that starting off standing by the side of the bed with her flat on her back with legs pulled up gives me a huge control advantage;particularly if I am wearing socks and slip on shoes.(don't worry, she can't see them) Once you get over the initial urge to release and "get in the zone" you should then only be limited by your ability to maintain your erection and you can move on to other positions at your discretion.

I hope this helps you and others because, sadly,it took me years to learn this own my own....

Thank you.The problem most of us face is lack of training.I am thankful for forums like this one where things are discussed openly.I would recommend anyone to read David Shade's book The Secrets of Female Sexuality as it was a real eye opener for me and might be for most guys who never had a mentor along those lines......

My generation learned about sex behind the barn with the neighbor girl. Ill show you mine if you show me yours. The fact is she said she had a deep dark secret and swore me to silence. I said of course. She said, "I fucked Jimmy xxxxx." We were probably 8. I tried to be cool and said well do you want to fuck me? Of course. We did. She was my best friend growing up and still is. We didn't marry but always loved one another.

When my wife fell in love with her lover, she asked me to wear a condom during sex with her. She couldn''t get PG with me anyway, as I'd had a vasectomy before we married. But her lover didn't want me cumming in her. Flexing his muscles, I guess as he was already her primary sex partner. But wearing a condom helped me go longer before cumming. My wife really liked that! Or maybe she just wanted me to feel better about wearing the condom. Sometimes when I wore it, I had very little sensation and was barely hard enough to finish. It made her appreciate her younger lover all the more.

There's a company called Promescent that makes a product called Delay Spray. It absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't transfer to your partner or leave a bad flavor during oral.

Update: so we finally put the kids to bed early enough for us to sneak to the couch. So I used the wipe on the tip. It did numb. But…. Now I was going limp rather quickly when I was trying foreplay. So wife was questioning if I could feel it or was liking it. I reassured that I was enjoying it. But the couch was uncomfortable and I was still not able to last a noticeable amount of extra time. So the wife said she would like more and if she could get someone to finish her off. So I know this short sex is annoying to us both but I can see it’s no where close to her enjoyment

I'm sure you can look this with a search engine, but most men last from about two to five minutes. My wife has met guys who lasted up to a half hour but has found that to be a rare ability in her experience. She once told me about a guy who lasted an hour, but she admittedly didn't check that with her watch. I'm sure at least some men can do that, and once experienced a party in which one of the husbands stayed erect and able with successive women.

In other words, you're like most guys, including me. :D

Try cold medicine like dayquil. If I take one dose it makes me last longer. If I take two or three (one in morning, then at night), that night I might be lucky to cum. I thought it was just me until one of my coworkers brought it up. Worth a shot.

Thanks. I’ll definitely try it. Sometimes I do have some luck after alcohol but I have trouble not drinking too much. If I drink too much then my little buddy won’t wake up to play.
