Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email

Hello! It seems like I have 14 posts already but I tried to reply to an PM and it is stuck in the outbox. I think I am not in the new users list anymore. Any idea what could be the reason?

PM sits in outbox until read. It's bad design but at least you know when it is read.

I’ve been a member for a number of years. For some reason I am now unable to send any emails, including one to the admins people telling them I couldn’t send (although I was able to receive one from a member). My inability to send has gone on now for several months. The emails are just sitting in the out basket collecting dust.

Send me one. Let me see what happens on my end.

Is the original post about receiving an activation email still accurate? I did not receive an email, however I assume my account was activated since I was able to log in after a few hours. However the post I tried to make did not post successfully (must be manually approved), so now I am unsure.

I have said in several spots that the statement about the email is wrong. There is no email but for some reason I can't get to that statement to change it. Obviously you are approved or you would not be posting. Yes. It is all manual.

Yes, it's buggy to broken...

After 5-10 posts you won't have to wait for approval. It's our anti spam anti asshole strategy. It works great for the former but the latter, we'll I'm proof of that

After you post between 5&10 times you're out of moderation and can pm.

It stays in your Outbox until the recipient opens and reads it. Then it goes in your Sent Messages box. It's a way of showing you if the message has been opened or not.
