Missing notifications

Hi admins,
in the last couple of years I have been experiencing frequent cases of notifications not being sent; for example, I haven't received any in the last week or so.
Anything us users can do to limit that issue?

Yes I did, there is a lot of stuff but not a single msg from OHW.
I already asked for support on this some time ago, something had been done and I started receiving the msgs again.
If it's an issue only for me it's ok, I check OHW every other day anyway

You don't get notifications. People are always emailing me saying they didn't get an email after registration. There isn't one. We like a certain amount of anonymity here and notifications aren't really good for that. Just log in and see what's going on. Be responsible for your own update. We don't do it.

Guys, from my perspective, OHW email notifications of any kind just don't work. When I changed my password, and tried to use the "forgot my password" page on my phone, multiple times, I received nothing. We see people all the time on the board who say they forgot their passwords, and had to create new accounts. I've *never* received any kind of email from OHW. Not in spam, not anywhere. Like afagehi7 I'm a computer guy, so the obvious user errors don't apply. I'm happy to help in any way I can, but I'm pretty convinced that something is broken.

I get email notifications on my main thread because I subscribed to be notified on that thread. So it usually works? But those are the only emails I've ever seen. I had to re-subscribe to it after the great forum purge, but I don't usually even check that email and just see the notifications here on the main page instead because I check it so often. So maybe try re-subscribing to a particular thread?

it's happening again: every once in a while I just stop receiving the notifications, all of them.
They don't end up in the spam, it looks like they just are not sent anymore. Can you please address this issue? in the past I could see something was done because I started receiving the notifications.
Am I the only one having this problem?
