Are "Lockout's" explained?

Unread post by Nfhw » Sat Jul 15, 2023 5:21 am

I see that the threads "Alicia and Steve" and their Hottie thread "Edging Towards Hotwife?" have recently been "Locked".

Knowing why will help the rest of us avoid similar circumstances.

Do the "Lockouts" get rescinded after some time or restitution.

Thank you.

It depends on the situation.

Sometimes we have questions of the OP that need to be answered before allowing a thread to continue. In that case as soon as we resolve the questions they are unlocked. No need to explain those to anyone else.

Occasionally they are locked for a cooling off period due to out of control arguments that need sorting out. That usually requires editing and giving out warnings after reading through every post. I usually post that I am giving a 24hr cooling off period for these type.

In this case I noticed he was deleted but didn't know why (at the time) and wanted to avoid a huge cleanup and possibly needing to give warnings later on while I figured out what happened.

There is a thread that was started called A & S where armyguyot1 explained what happened in this case. I may post on his threads pointing to that thread with the explanation.

Hopefully that clears things up 😀
