Search is broken

The search function appears to be broken (I receive and error message when I try), and has been for all the time I've been a member.

Am I the only one who experiences this?

I am on an android phone with Firefox.

It's pending server resources. If you try at off-peak times it works. We're funded by member donations and do not have advertising or other means of funding the site and all admins and mods are volunteers. Due to this we have to run lean and that means no searching when the site is busy.

Just adding my personal experience with the search function, also from Firefox:

1) Searching by selecting a username followed by "Search user's posts" works as expected. Except when the server is under high load as you described, then a message requesting to retry later appears.

2) "free form" search such as searching for a word does not work at all. The page is completely blank, with no message.
