PM's are in Outbox folder forever

Hello Admins,

Hope you're doing well.

Did anyone notice or experience about the private messages staying in outbox folder for a very long time, sometimes more than 3-5 days.

Anything wrong with the email server to process these messages or any issues with the network?

I'd appreciate any feedback on it.

It's not email - it's PHPbb private messages.

They stay in 'Outbox' until the recipient reads them, at which time they move to Sent.

Not what many people are used to, but it is kind of good to be able to see that your message has been read.

Oh yes, you're right and they're messages. In the habit of using lots of emails, used that term loosely".
