So I have been encouraging my wife for a few yrs now. Over the last few weeks she has been coming home after a few drinks with fiedns and just very horny. We have had more sex in last few weeks than we have in last yr lol. Anyway last weekend during some drunk sex i brought up the whole HW thing and her having fun with other men. During our chat she finally said ok I will do it. Literally made me finish right there, was very hot hearing her say that. After sex she was asking questions like what my role would be. She also made it clear that this def did not mean i could sleep with other women, to which i confirmed and said of course not. We discussed for a while, discussed possible guys, and also discussed how many opportunies she has had to play in past, like how often she is hit on. Anyway the next night we were drinking again, but we didnt have sex. I sent her some texts telling her how i was still thinking about her having fun. She seemed more skeptical, asking why and how is it good for me. Anyway finished the conversation with her saying we will see. Just wanted to get your opinion on this. Was she just trying to shut me up? Do you think shes thinking about it? What are my next steps? I dont want to push her too much and make her mad. Love to get everyones opinion. . Thank you!

As I read your post, some specific wording stands out to me..

So…. Out with friends drinking, comes home horny and after a night of drunken sex you both talk openly about exploring..

Then…. You and her drinking, she’s not honrny and she seems more skeptical.

Sounds like perhaps when she’s out with friends. There’s a little more ability to let her hair down and be a bit more playful. She gets herself worked up… maybe she’s hit on, maybe her eye wanders a bit… nothing bad, big open to possibilities. That versus, sitting at home with husband, drinking, but no opportunity to get her imagination running so she’s skeptical. Perhaps she’s drinking but still thinking rationally and not horny so thinking with a clear head.

Seems all rather natural to me. Now you’re at the part where you have to have real conversations and confront those things she has concerns about. She still may be open to the idea but needs to understand your line of thinking a bit better. What IS in it for you? What do you get out of it? Explain those things and it seems she’s at least open to discussing it with you.

I don’t think she was trying to shut you up…. I think her curiousity was peaked and perhaps she just needs to talk to thru some more.

Well i am hoping so. We are going to dinner tonight just the 2 of us, so I will bring up many of these things. hopefully some drunken sex after as well to bring up more of making this a reality. She does travel several times a yr with work and has a trip coming up in a few weeks. I am thinking of encouraging her to have some fun there. Any thoughts on that? Should i not pressure her to have fun with random guys when I am not there? Or will this be a good starting point?

as a HW i would just like to say, do not post a pic of your lady/queen unless she fully approves. Speaking from experience, many years ago much like you, my husband shared how he would like to experience some of watching me w/other men. He shared he had been reading some different sex forums. if she is ready to meet guys the first that you should do is to discuss any rules or guidelines either of you may want. this is important to discuss before she meets with other guys so there won't be any issues.

secondly you need to think long and hard about how you are going to react to her banging other guys, there is a world of difference between fantasy and reality and some guys have a real hard time when reality hits, how are you going to feel if she finds a guy that gives her pleasure that you are not capable of. how will you react if she prefers to be with her new lovers than you?

if both of you are ready to have her meet other men the best thing to do is to put yourselves into situations where she can meet other men.
I've found that cocktail parties, home parties and even bars are good places for my wife to meet men.

when we go out I give her a lot of space so men will approach her, if we are out together and she spots a guy that interests her she isn't shy about going to him and chatting him up.

lastly patience is important, let her move things along at her pace, don't try to force things, let it happen without your input.

Help her plan and pack.

Let her try on outfits to show off and get your opinion. Be very generous and genuine with your compliments.

And, always, including while she's gone, don't push her. Leave it entirely up to her.
