Wifey feels we're more stag/vixen so I thought I'd start my thread here. Not looking for meet ups as she picks her own partners on her own time. This place feels like somewhere I can call my own and read up on others experiences and thoughts.

I'll post updates to our lifestyle when possible. This seems like a place that I can share any fun and excitement away from my vanilla life. Anyway, all is well currently. Update: One of wife's Daddy-Doms asked to collar her. He sent over a pendant to symbolize a soft collar. Reminder that currently, all is taking place online. He also sent Christmas presents consisting of toys and a very nice purse! The goal is for a meet sometime in early 2025 if things line up.

Answering a question from Vin231 here. Logistics will determine how any meet up goes. If he visits our town, we'll probably do a public meet up for a get to know you. If everyone is comfortable about moving forward, we'd go to his hotel room. I plan to excuse myself so they can find their rhythm together. Although, if they'd like me to stay and watch I'm not going to argue! I would like to be messaged after their session but whatever the flow is I'd go with it.

Yes, that's exactly what I'd recommend: this is a learning opportunity. A ton of dudes out there aren't the most stable and realistic, particularly when keeping it digital, and there are often warning signs that can be noticed when you know what to look for. It can be difficult to see them because we often don't see what we don't want to see, and because a lot of the fun is in being vulnerable, but you can't be vulnerable and on your guard at the same time. That might be an advantage of non-monogamy though... the astute hubby might spot things that the nre-soaked wife might not

In this particular instance, I'm curious how long it was before this Dom was making moves to collar her? Usually, that is a very serious symbolic action of implied commitment, meant for a long term D/s relationship. Not something to be done in early stages.

Also, having multiple simultaneous dominants of the same type is kind of a question mark for me. Thanks for the comment and reply. Sorry I took a bit to respond but wanted to make sure I had enough time to give a thought out response. You are so right about the fun leaving you vulnerable. We keep with things that make you feel good. You give leeway with people when they're pushing your happy button. She was caught off guard by events so I definitely had no insight. Again, lesson learned and will bookmark for the future.

As for how long it took to collar, a couple of months. She's still exploring what her interests are and what she likes. Looking back on it now, she does realize it might have been too fast of an action. Then again, all of the convos aligned with the growth of things. Lesson #2 learned.

As for multiple Doms, it was more for exploration. Each was unique in what they brought to the table. Most did not converse like the collaring one but did help her answer questions and learn about the Daddy-Dom area. Logistics definitely played a part in the multiple connections. I'm not really a fan of labels and categorizing people at this point. In the truest sense, we are a cuckold couple. She has sexual affairs outside the marriage. It just boggles the mind when people, in an area that is segmented to accommodate so many different tastes, decide to be judge and juror how others enjoy their flavour of the lifestyle. I get it if vanilla people raise an eyebrow, it's the reason why we visit sites like this.

Every single person/couple in the lifestyle has a unique version of kinks/interests/inhibitions, so there is no catch all label. We are Stag/Vixen, but there are aspects of that description that don't match. So we just stick with ethically non-monogamous!

I'm pretty sure this is the true reality. To decide "what we are" seems like over analyzing and not really the point. Once a couple has broken down the communication and judgement barriers you define your own path together. Labels are constraining and come with stereotypes.
