Maybe a small step tonight

I thought my wife might try some small steps during our vacation last summer, but it didn't work out, logistically.

Tonight we are going out for NYE. The bar will have a band that she likes.

I'm hoping to convince her to dance with a guy other than me. Watching gets me so aroused!

We ate dinner upstairs and now we're heading downstairs to the band / dance floor. They don't have a coat check so I offered to take her coat to our car which is a block away. Told her I'd love to come back and find her dancing with someone. She said okay. So I joked to her that it's 1,000 points if I see a guy touching her and 50,000 points if I see them kiss. She looked at me and smiled/laughed, as in "oh no you didn't" just say that. I'm about to walk back inside. She usually wimps out from this kind of thing, so we'll see!

Another flop. Apparently she was just acknowledging my request, not saying that she would do it.

Oh well.

She said if someone had asked her to dance, she would have said yes, but she wasn't about to hunt for anyone.
