I read in the Library forum the most. We are a very traditional couple and will never be in any kind of alternative lifestyle. I think you're off the mark here. I was always under the impression that a 'stag' was one who had other women on the side, the term having been derived from the fact that in the deer species one buck typically services a number of females.

Here where I live, we have a rather large deer population and at this time of year driving can be hazardous at certain times of day because it is rutting season. Often several does will suddenly appear out of the woods and run across the road, followed by a buck that is chasing them. I have twice hit does suddenly appearing in the road directly in front of me, once totaling my car (the cost to repair the damage was more than what I paid for it, and more than what it would cost to just buy another one). I now carry a special insurance rider for this type of event.
