Is it a self esteem thing?

Obviously given my handle, my wife is bigger. Pretty much a Ssbbw at this point. I love it I think she’s hot. But I sometimes wonder if the reason she won’t try this is because she feels other guys never really hit on her? I know it’s harder for big women, and she doesn’t really go out much with friends, so the odds of a guy hitting on her are very low. It’s just not the popular body type.

Last night we were discussing tiktok influencers and a friend of hers is making a lot of commission money from doing posts about about clothes brands she likes(I’m not on TT so I don’t even know what’s on my wife’s profile but she’s shown me and it’s nothing much). I told her she should do the same for plus sized clothing. She told me she has a lot of followers, which surprised me(she admitted most never comment and said they were product bots).

So my hope is, she starts doing clothing posts, she gains more followers, and she hopefully gets more guys following her that comments or even send her DMs, and therefore raises her self esteem.

I don’t know. Trying anything I can to convince her to try. Playing the long game here.

Well, you might be right about that, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a sizeable minority who might be 'in to' her body type.
After all, Hotwifing and Cuckolding is probably a 'niche' sexual preference, but here we are in a thriving community talking about it every day.
Does she visit other forums etc that discuss her body type?

It's a big wide world out there, and there's someone for everyone.

That’s my point-she might not think that many guys would be into her, but the more guys that follow her and comment on her looks in a positive manner, the more it might help improve her self esteem and turn her on more to the idea. Ive noticed a few men comment on her posts and they say things like “beautiful ” so I feel like the more of those she gets the better. And her account isn’t private so maybe that says something?

She does belong to a few plus size positive online groups, but it’s all women in those as an empowerment thing.

Ok, extra question..... Are you any good with a camera? If so, try getting her to pose for some photos, just for you two to look at. Maybe vet them first, to weed out any duds. Needn't be anything revealing, unless she is happy doing that. I found that getting good photos of my wife changed her self image for the better. But, take care with the photos. Don't just make them typical snapshots. Get her to dress up, do her make up, maybe buy her some clothes she really wants. Choose a good background, try and get the lighting right. It might help you if you look on the net for images that remind you of your wife, and use these for inspiration. Make it like a modelling session. Just the act of posing can often make someone feel special.

To your first question-she likes to claim she’s body positive, but I’m pretty sure she’s not happy about her shape, no matter what I and a few of her male followers on tiktok might say.


Second question-possibly but I doubt it. It would probably take a lot to get her to post anything remotely sexy on social media. Even the few comments of “beautiful” on any post with her in them don’t elicit a response from her, not even a like or heart.

Last question-I take ok photos. To be honest because she works from home, she doesn’t tend to dress up a lot. But maybe f I occasionally posted some nice normal pics of her and said how hot she looked, maybe she would get more into it. Thanks for the idea!

It’s all in the personality. I used to go out with my gf’s and they would get PO’d because guys hit on me first and I was like 80-100 lbs heavier. It’s all in how she presents herself! I hope she can see herself as beautiful and raise her self esteem!
