Lying about something or hiding it wouldn't work for me but to each their own of course.

I have always been on the side of openness when it comes to hotwifing. No point trying to surreptitiously opening and resealing the gift. 2 lies (her potentially hiding a lover and you spying on her) does not make a right.

Hard as it might seem, I think it is best to tackle this straight on. Tell her you found this and ask what it is - non-confrontationally. Tell her also that you really don't mind her sleeping with another guy, as long as she is not doing it dishonestly. In fact, you want her to.

This is how I approached it with my wife when I found she was sexting with another guy online. I laid it all out in the open, and it was the best 2 years of my life (even though she did not actually sleep with him). If after being honest with her she want to break it off with you, then perhaps it is for the best. Remember that cheating behind your back and dishonestly is not the same as hotwifing.
