I've been a casual lurker on this site for a long time. Like many of you, I've also loved the idea of my wife taking a lover for a long time. I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and subsequently had it removed. (Zero stars and do not recommend on that whole experience.) Now I have a couple of months of incontinence issues to deal with as I learn to use my muscles a bit differently. Also, and most critically, I'm looking at 12-18 months before I start having an erection again. I'm three weeks post op and have discovered that while my dick is dead and leaking occasionally, my libido is alive and well.

We have had great sex together, just no real talking about it.

A year to 18 months is plenty of time to build her desire to need to desperation. Being especially sexual with her when you can't fulfill the need right now is great way to push her towards it. This is a great opportunity and a great story I hope to continue to read about!

You deal with the essentials, the minor things, fall away. The way you presented your situation is reasonable and practical. You could probably use the exact same words when you do take it up with your wife ... Perhaps using a more alluring term for 'stunt dick'.
