Would you / Do you play at home

(So far) My wife will only play in our home with me present in our bedroom. We've talked about playing outside of our home when we travel, but so far that has not worked out.

We much prefer to play at home, though we only invite people we know into our house. By "know" I mean having an established relationship. That means we've known them for a while, we've had sex with them before, we know their work, where they live, a fair bit about their lives. By the time someone steps into our home, they're not simply hookups. We would never meet anyone for the first time at home. Even when my wife is playing alone I much prefer her to play in our house, and she much prefers the comfort of being at home.

A few advantages:
- She doesn't have to worry about a guy setting up a hidden camera in a hotel room or at his place.
- We're able to put in place certain safety measures in our own home.
- It's easier for me to get to the house if she needs me.
- She has access to our sex closet, if they want something.
- She can change clothes or outfits if she wants.
- There's no travel time involved for her, especially after late-night dates.
- By the time we get to know a guy, if we're uncomfortable having him to our house then we probably shouldn't be meeting him at all.

The primary downsides:
- We need to be very discreet around neighbors.
- We have to clear kids (and often hubby) out of the house. Logistics planning is a nightmare.
- You need to KNOW the other guy. Home is not the place for anonymous hookups.
- And the big one: a jilted wife. We don't play with cheaters, but if a guy is dishonest with his wife then he'd have no problem being dishonest with us. If a cheated wife were to track her husband to our house, there are a number of nightmare scenarios that could unfold. This is one of the many reasons why we make sure we KNOW the guy before he knows where we live. No cheaters!

To us, inviting a man to our home isn't a whole lot different than a vanilla person inviting someone they're dating. But don't invite people you don't know into your home. When you do get to know someone -- especially someone you're fucking -- inviting them home is a pretty normal thing to do.

Our answer is no only because we have kids.

In a decade we'll happily host at our house but until then, our playmates don't even really know where we live.

Her current main FWB won’t play at our house because he think it is somehow chivalrous not to have an affair with my wife in my home and the at doing so would be disrespectful to me. (he doesn’t think I know) how that makes it any better, I have no idea. I’d much rather he get over it and use my house for the safety and comfort of all.

I agree. With a modicum of common sense, kids don't create a problem.

I first started to meet the first two men at a hotel bar, but then realised it’s just much easier to meet at house, it’s more discreet and also safer as my husband is in the house. If the attraction is there then I will take him to my martial bed.

As the husband, I'm fine with her having guys at our home and she often does. But there' no option I could check off above. My wife does whatever she wants, whether I'm traveling for assignments or home and I approve. If she has an overnight friend in our marital bedroom, I sleep in our above-ground guest room.

We're 35 & 36, have no children, our neighbors keep to themselves, and our home is surrounded by a high stone wall with a remote-controlled entry gate. That allows guests to park unnoticed behind the wall at the front of our home for whatever time, including overnight, as they wish. Even without the wall, I wouldn't have a problem with it unless we had neighbors or friends who tend to drop in unannounced, which we don't encourage anyway. Knowing they couldn't get in unannounced, her guys and service vendors only visit when invited.
