We have 8 tractors that we use regularly and two more of an antique vintage, one of them is her dad's first tractor from 1956. The dealership is one of those places we go quite often, not only for tractors but, filters, parts, service, and other equipment. But..... she does like to be seen and flirt with the guys there, both employees and customers.
In our area, it is referred to as a farm, and we as farmers or cattlemen. When we talk to others not from here we refer to it as a ranch, as that makes it more clear as to what we do and raise. In our area, there are no crops or as we refer to them, crop farmers.

We rarely argue anymore, probably due in part to maturity but, also due to my taking serious her being in charge.

The rooms are heated and air-conditioned. She carries two travel blankets with her in her truck for moments like this.
