"I’m sure of this though. It has to be harder to NOT make love and/or fuck your beautiful wife than it is to snuggle in."
I guess you can be sure of that for you and your beautiful wife. I don't see how you can be so sure about anyone else.
In any event, I believe David and Reese in fact do both make love to and fuck their beautiful wives, which at least confuses the proposition, yes?
My own conceptions about cuckoldry, both the ones I held before and some I have entertained since beginning to "view the active topics" here, have been discredited so often by what seem quite credible posts to this board, that I no longer think I know very much of anything about it at all.
It seems to be so variable among people, both as a definitional matter and as an empirical one, that I now just go with what people say they do and don't do and what happens to them as a result.
Some of what I read here is stimulating, some kind of repellent, and some simply mystifying to me; but I have no reason to think any of it isn't real.

I am grateful that the folks that share their experiences on this board are as forthcoming as they are. The reality of everyone's situation is what is so mentally and physically stimulating to me.bubbajack wrote: Some of what I read here is stimulating, some kind of repellent, and some simply mystifying to me; but I have no reason to think any of it isn't real.

Re: Jane' adventure
What I don't understand is that so many seem to see Jane as this damsel in distress. She is pretty on top of what is going on so far as I can tell. Dates who she wants. Has told hubby what she wants and he has for the most part gone along with it.
The guys bring different things to the table, and part of that is some exploring. Pushing boundaries means being on the edge of discomfort. Too far means never again. But close to the edge is where the fun lies and if you don't try it how do you know?
Jane has obviously decided to trust these people and they bring something to the table, be it fun or trust or great sex ... so they get something from each other.

i didn't even know what to make of a lot of what has been written here the last couple days. david kind of regrets writing what he wrote. i don't even have any current plans to see sam.

Re: Jane' adventure
that is a shame, of course that is the way he is a little, isn't it? the more you reveal the more you open yourself up to scrutiny and self doubt.david kind of regrets writing what he wrote
if it makes him feel any better, sometimes I think if I revealed ALL then everybody would know how totally really f%#kin nuts I truly am!

I agree. A lot of times when writing online much is lost in translation unfortunately. To truly understand the decisions people make and how they are feeling, you really have to be there, not just read it online.MrBrunetteBeth wrote:that is a shame, of course that is the way he is a little, isn't it? the more you reveal the more you open yourself up to scrutiny and self doubt.david kind of regrets writing what he wrote

Re: Jane' adventure
for my 2 cents worth I appreciate David's post very much. I helps me begin to feel the balance in your relationship and understand just a little bit more about his motivation.
Isn't the reality of your thread really more revealing than any individual post?
I have had my photos of Kate since the early 70s and never felt that posting them online was appropriate until I found OHW. I lurked here for a few months and felt that this was a very non-judgemental oasis. I hope I am contributing to that.

Re: Jane' adventure
If he's anything like me he wants to "see" you in the same sense that you so often use that word (which tends to involve a bit more than the visual)!
Re: Jane' adventure
i can't go that night. we have a dinner with david's work.
Re: Jane' adventure
nothing wrong with that, we're just busy.

Nothing wrong that at all. Wifey just about had a heart attack when three of her suitors wanted some quality time...at the same time as family visitors. Hope all go well for you and keeping posting, even if small tidbits.

Re: Jane' adventure
no , nothing. i thought maybe tyrell's friend would call me again but he has not. oh well, dinner out tonight, just family stuff this weekend.
Re: Jane' adventure
last night we had a work-related dinner. my husband works in the financial industry and he's been training a couple people. so i'm sitting across from one of them and we're talking. afterward in the car david was so upset. he said the guy was flirting with me. i was like, well maybe a little, but not a big deal. i guess i am use to it by now. i was kinda shocked, but it was funny to me too.

Re: Jane' adventure
Was David upset with you, with the trainee, or just with the occurrence of flirting in a business context?
I didn't think flirting and what people do for a living in the financial industry were all that different!

Re: Jane' adventure
The fact that i workd with him pissed me off, and that he's a trainee made it worse. I know she's a hotwife, but that was just not cool. Fortunately men who have flirted with her over the years , for the most part, havn't been people we know. My one consolation with him is every time we flip a coin for the lunch bill he loses.

Re: Jane' adventure
I'm totally with David on this. F'ing Trainee & he's making time with the Trainer's wife. Yes, sorry, I'm with David 100%.
Trainee: Learn the ropes, make some money..............then maybe ...eventually... you can think about about flirting with my damned wife. But until then, show me some damned respect... flirting w/ her when you don't even know anything...jeez, GD!!!
100% on board with David...but Jane, long time fan, no offense, not your fault. I'm totally in love w you. More ythan Bubba (lol, just kidding Bubba...well, sort of); the fault is totally the trainee's, not yours, Jane.
Just my opinion.
BTW, we're cooking New York Strip's & Bell peppers on the grill tonight.. Booyah!!!! Y'all have a nice weekend

Re: Jane' adventure
Oh, please!
Just look at Jane ... how would anybody engaging her not be inclined to flirt ... it is a two way street, if Jane was acting friendly. But David knows he has nothing to worry about unless of course Jane *really* wants to torment him
MrBB
I've been accused of flirting when I was simply talking to somebody.
