I can picture the smile on your lovly face.

I had the radio on quite loud as I drove to the hotel. I was singing along and some guy in the car beside me on the highway gave me an appreciative nod. So I guess that describes how smiley I was in anticipation.

I can also report that the smile continued for the duration of our date...and the drive home. I called Adventurer from the car as I drove back. He was on his lunch break, so I let him know that I gave G a 5 star rating for his love-making skills. It was an 11 out of 10 experience

Since becoming a hotwife, Shirley loves wearing tight, short, sexy sundresses. She often wears them to work and now notices a few different guys checking her out and giving her more attention than they used to. Another example of Shirley and I being similar. I have found that now that I am a hot wife, I do notice when colleagues notice me. And I totally understand her thoughts about herself. We are conditioned to think that women peak in attractiveness somewhere in their mid to late twenties. Not only is that the ideal of beauty being sold in fashion and marketing campaigns, but you also see it lived out in men having mid-life crises and leaving their wives for much younger girlfriends. Because of this conditioning, it is hard to be a middle-aged wife and mother and think, "Oh, I bet people think I'm hot." At least that's what seems to happen in my own head.

I'm happy that she's been getting some excellent validation from others (especially the hot guy at work)

Well, if someone is offering, I always enjoy being tied. Lol. When we go on vacation, Adventurer and I like to find places with four poster beds. There is something about being tied spread eagled (especially in a place where there is no risk of kids overhearing anything) that is very arousing.

On our honeymoon, we bought some silk scarves for just such a purpose. Now we will sometimes pack bondage rope, or even leather cuffs and metal chain.

We are going away this weekend for our anniversary....you may have sparked something now.

There is a new movie, which I have yet to see, with Barbra Fonda and some other senior actresses where they play against the ageist stereotype. They are a good couple of decades beyond me but I'm keen on seeing it should it come my way.
And in a manner, the 'Older Woman, Younger Man', type thing in it's own way even thou it tends to a 'lessor' sort of set up (assuming he's not just in it for money/reward) is a validation of the point made above.

LFA - I know this was a 'thing' from my youth through my middle-age, but that is decades in the past. Is this still going on to the same degree?

Anecdotally, I know of a few instances of this still happening in recent years, but I do think it is less than it was in the past. With that said, I stand behind my statement that society still seems to imply that women decrease in hotness as they get older. (An article in the Atlantic, for example, looked at dating site interactions and analyzed the data. It found that "men’s desirability peaks at age 50. But women’s desirability starts high at age 18 and falls throughout their lifespan." Yikes!).

I disagree with this belief, but it is out there.
