I have been reading every post of yours as if reading a New York Times Bestseller. They are hard to walk away from. Pun intended! I get extremely horny when reading them. If I had a penis, it would be hard for certain!
I need your advice. My story is as follows:

My apologies for not responding right away. For the time our contractors are remodeling our home, we’re staying at a hotel about halfway between our workplaces. So far, each of us has had to return home a couple of times to pick up a few things we didn't think to bring with us.

I’m not surprised at your husband’s reaction. My own response, although not then expressed, was similar at the outset. When we were new at this, I hadn’t anticipated that I would have a bit of jealousy and insecurity. The fantasy is far different from the reality. Although I didn’t admit my thoughts to my wife at the time, my churning emotions were rather extreme. Had my wife stayed with just one or two men at that time, I don’t know how long we could have continued at this. Instead, her first hookups were with several who responded to two successive personals ads we had placed at the time.

You’re both physicians, so I assume you’re each aware of the chemical and neurological responses between two people having sex, particularly over an extended time. If not immediately, an emotional bond soon develops between the man and woman. I learned in a relatively short time that was no threat to our marriage. We have good communication and a strong marital relationship; neither of us believes in divorce or carrying grudges among couples unless physical or mental abuse is involved. My excitation over her affairs, whether short or long term, has never waned. The first few times were particularly overwhelming to me as those were for her. These extramarital relationships always have an expiration date, and the only time she was distressed over a parting was her first with a young college student, which had enthusiastically gone on for about three years. Even then, he wasn’t the only man she was having sex with at that time.

I can relate to your early experience as you describe it and can understand each of your responses to that initial encounter. As you work your way through our lengthy history, perhaps you will see how each of us came to deal with resultant emotional reactions and how it works within our marital relationship. It’s certainly antithetic now from that before, but neither of us would change an iota of it. Even lamentable experiences are lessons for the future, and we have been through a couple of those as told within these pages. The opposite side of that is that almost all have been rewarding. Other than our realization sex was becoming rather routine, our marriage was superb before for each of us; but now it’s solid, unbreakable and exciting beyond either of our previous expectations.

As a few at this website have narrated, it isn’t necessarily the same for everyone but it works for us. Without communication, trust and mutual understandings, a relationship can go south. We’re convinced that if a couple is doing this for the reason of improving a troubled relationship, the outcome can be atrociously painful. My wife’s attitude, as is mine, is that it’s really just fun and emotionally fulfilling.

I don’t like giving advice, but I suspect almost all living lives like ours would suggest long talks when opposition by either comes about. Each partner needs to understand just where the other is coming from in this lifestyle. Most married couples think they know their partners well; but when it comes to sex with those outside that marriage, they learn they don’t know about the other as much as they thought. With experience, they find there’s a lot more to human sexual nature than seemed obvious when it was just the two of them.

Hi Tracey, none of that. That's a pic from around some time when we started down this path, and I had found it on our older computer before I wiped the drive to leave at the curb for the City's weekly pickup of large or electronic items. I asked my wife if she recalled my taking that photo. She thinks it may have been a guy who visited only a couple of times and had an RV but whoever it was, he wasn't anyone she knew for long. And, yeah, she does have good abs. Her interest on that loan was exceptionally cheap and short-term, backed up with her CDs and savings as collateral. It won't take long to pay it off; she has saved and invested almost everything she has earned over the past six years and we live off my income; we're very conscientious and frugal people who avoid going in debt, although this time is an exception. Her salary will now go mostly into the loan until it's paid off. We realized not long after marrying that someday either of us for reasons beyond our control might be out of work; this Covid-19 plague has affirmed that possibility for us, and that's our reason for our perhaps-abnormal frugality. And, yeah, I'm fixed; there was no point in not being so after Gigi's tubal ligation.

I'm going to guess that Tracy52's remark about fixing was more geared towards mortgage rates and less toward a vasectomy? Many I know are taking advantage of the lower rates again to re-fi down from 30's to 15's or shorter, or swallowing up HELOC's to get out from under the adjustable rates.

We left the drapes open last night for the skyline and sunset/sun-up view.

Her boss and his wife invited us to stay with them during the modifications. We thought about it and decided we preferred not to be living with others even for a couple of weeks. He told Gigi he will come by a night while we're staying at the hotel but they didn't set a date. Neither he nor she mentioned sex but I'm sure they won't be able to resist. When I asked, my wife confessed three weeks without sex with him may be a bit too much for him or her. I'm unsure whether I'll leave the suite when he visits. I'll ask her preference about that before he arrives but I would enjoy watching. His wife might come with him and, if he and my wife prefer being alone, his wife and I will go out together on a date that night.

We too would be uncomfortable staying with other's for such a long period of time. Being a fan of certain types of denial, I would encourage Gigi to try for a break again from Bossman and you during this time. She broke her focus last time at the end of May just a few days away from the finish line. This break from routine provides another easy opportunity to capitalize on, should abstinence be a motivating thing. When Bossman visits, it could be electric if the rules preclude them from sexual activity. I know I'd enjoy watching my wife clawing at the walls to get at her lover while consciously deciding to wait until the remodel is done. If I had any type of say in how the next few weeks goes, I'd vote for an intentional break and building of desires to a fever pitch.

My wife pointed out to me I had misunderstood your meaning of "fixed" and thought my response was hilarious. She twisted that into a joke of me supposedly responding in misunderstanding to a similar remark by a friend we know. The couple she told that to roared laughing. I said to them her story wasn't really true but they're accustomed to her jokes and had assumed it was just one of her latest. My surgical procedure was performed in the hopes she would someday loosen her rules, but I've came to accept that wasn't going to happen with the few exceptions I've written about here before. I'll forever be the 100% faithful husband.

Guess I'll never please everyone. This morning, I received another PM that says I shouldn't even post a photo of Gigi's eyes for the reason the most recognizable part of a woman's face is her eyes. I'm trying to think what sort of photo-avatar will cause fewer problems.

That pic, though, shows her former gray-tinted contact lenses, which she no longer wears. A same-day eye-surgical procedure eliminated her need for glasses and contacts. I liked the "gray" eyes whenever she wore those lens because I hadn't before noticed anyone with that color eyes, but she's now back to her normal eye color.

Solstice was right. The pic from a bedroom surveillance cam was clear in its original 6"X4.5” format but seemed confusing when reduced to 120 pixels. I suspect Sol thought her long legs were arms.

She phoned me at the office Tuesday morning to tell me her boss is coming over to our (temporary) hotel room Thursday night after a previously unscheduled Board meeting; we're likely to be here for the next two weeks while our home's remodeling is underway.

Her boss told had her at the office the Board meeting will be held in the bank’s main conference room and suggested the two of them could come over to our hotel room following the meeting. His wife told him she wouldn’t mind him staying overnight if he agreed I could stay with her at their home that night.

Gigi told him she would ask me about that and get back with him today. I phoned his wife and told her I would come to their place when her husband and my wife leave the meeting for our hotel. It’s been a while since she and I have been together. Our spouses can’t handle us having intercourse but have no problem with oral or whatever else she and I wish to do. Their kids will have been asleep by the time her husband and Gigi leave the Board meeting, and I ‘ll drive over to their home when Gigi phones to tell me they’re on the way. Her boss was asked not to mention to her the purpose of the special meeting but he privately told her anyway. The chairwoman, the senior partner at her law firm, received a call from the president of a newly established downtown bank. He told her they wished to offer my wife a position but didn’t want the Board to think they were attempting to steal away one of their officers. The chairwoman told him she had no objections to their interviewing Gigi. The Board wishes to know her intentions. My wife said her response will be a “Thanks but no thanks,” that she wouldn’t change for any reason unless the Board might be unhappy with her performance. Her boss said no one’s displeased with her, but they will want to hear her thoughts about the offer.

Gigi told him, as she has told me in the past, she wouldn’t change positions no matter what salary might be offered by another institution. She knows her bank and employees as well as her boss and job satisfaction is more important to her than money. He said, “Good. That’s what I wanted to hear.” It’s all just a blip in time but she wishes the issue hadn’t come about.

Guess what???? I've got a question and a comment!!!!! No big news to many here and certainly not to you!! The question is about Boss' wife and you. You stated that you and she are allowed anything you want with the exception of intercourse. Most consider "intercourse" as penis in vagina. Do you think Gigi and Boss would consider anal between his wife and yourself as "intercourse"? Would his wife even consider anal with you if it was ok with the spouses?

My apology is for causing any confusion. My comment was in reaction to A7's comment about missing another quick avatar change. There were a couple of other comments about it as well. Being the joker and rascal that I am, I couldn't resist the opportunity to have a little fun with A7 by making that post, hopefully so he would think he missed an accidental posting of Gigi's face in an avatar. I just wanted to pull his string in a effort to have some good fun with him!!! Anyway, I need to let everyone else who may have been confused by my comment what the background for that was. There was no slip up on Des' part and as far as I know, no posting of any identifying images of her.
