I have followed this incredible thread regularly since early 2019, and if this absence marks the end of Des’ hotwife journal, I’ll be truly saddened. I remember a couple —- perhaps a few —- periods previously where Des/Gigi took some umbrage towards negative posts by some “contributors”, and fell silent for short periods of time, but this absence feels different imo. I don’t know if it’s coincidence, or even bears any significance at all, but I have noticed a change in the “tone” of the blog leading up to this dry period, and the recent surgery, trip to Asia, the astronomer, and some deleted posts and apologies by others add up to something I can’t quite grasp, but feels different in some slightly strained way. Pure conjecture on my part of course…. but like Sutter Kane and others, the disconnect, after years of involvement, can be abrupt on OHW.

All this is to say, I love what Des has so elegantly documented, and hope it’s a pause in posting, rather than a terminus. Best to you Des!

Well said, 1_chammer. I agree this is a bit unusual for Des in this case. But we need to remember it is summer time and post pandemic so there are many of us who are very busy reconnecting with our work associates and social friends that requires time in addition to the warmer weather where we all want to be somewhere outside doing things we haven't done in 6 months. Keep in mind, sometimes regular Original Posters may feel burdened by their threads to keep their followers happy by constantly feeding them (us) with the content we want. Many times the OP will begin to lose energy to continue at that same rate. His recent absences have made me think he and Gigi are at a crossroads in regards to maintaining a thread with regular updates from their personal lives. I personally found his descriptions and narratives about their regular life as interesting as those of the sex they experienced. If he intends to stop posting on this thread, I hope he returns to at least say goodbye and give many of us some closure with the possibility that he may give a general update every month or two. I also recognize that sometimes there are very unfortunate circumstances that enter our lives and change our daily routines, loss of employment, severe illness of a family member or in the case of posters from the LS having been discovered and possibly outed to their co-workers and vanilla friends.

Anyway, I miss his posts and hope he returns to the thread. I'm not ready to give up on him yet.

From all the postings from Des & GiGi my thoughts were that is not a very high probability, but that is all speculation at best. As they have stated divorce is not an option.Des provides the stability and 100% unending support and is OK and promotes her beingva hotwife.

The Astronomy Proffessor is a marine and like me probably too alpha to share GiGi if they were together the way she is with Des. And her hotwife play probably too ingrained into her life to quit playing. Where he would not be likely to accept her being with other men if she were with him.and not Des.

I truly pray all is well with both Des & GiGi and that life is just very busy now and that life is more important and time consuming to them right now than writing a thread on OHW. But as others have said hope they will come back here and update us and if not going to have time with keeping up this thread let us know they are alright.

C'mon guys!!!! It's been what? 2 weeks and 2 days since he let us know things were busy and he would give us a brief update on the past when he could. I'll be much more concerned when we get to a month. Hell, he was out a bit longer than this when he went to Asia. Maybe he found that he liked not having to write every day.

I was hospitalized and recovering for three weeks. I had recently changed my password and email provider, canceling the previous two email providers. I attempted contacting the OHW administrator, but the board is no longer active. If I can get reinstated for this thread, I can continue here. I don't wish to begin a new thread.

3 weeks in hospital. That’s a lot. Nothing to do with working too hard or your overseas trip I hope. I also hope Gigi was visiting and looking after you like she has others in hospital . All jokes aside, it’s good to hear from you. I was getting worried. Hope your on the mend and well enough to fill us in on all that happened. What else you going to do while recuperating.. it should be the longest post ever.

Wow some on here are way to into wanting details that no-one here on OHW has the answers to, aren't you? The only one that may is DES31 now DES 35.

Why not give Des35 the benefit of the doubt and see first how he writes when and if he does. Des 31 or Des35 doesn't owe this OHW thread any answer. I know I was in the hospital 35 days and in ICU with bacterial & COVID pneumonia and lost a lot of oxygen, mental clarity and energy. I didn't even have the energy to read social media and replies . So let alone if I was DES31 or DES35, I would not of had the energy to write anything about HWL or my adventures for awhile.

Lets just see what happens but know the DES31 or now DES 35 doesn't owe us anything we have just taken it for granted that he they would keep coming back to share their tale here on OHW.

I also just truly pray and hope all is well with Des & GiGi
