Fish has taken flack for years. Criticism is something Fish has no issues with and many times learns from it. IMHO Fish is dealing with some major issues in his marriage. We all hope and pray their marriage will come out the other side stronger and healthier.

Setbacks can interfere with a writer's style. When you're confused, you're adrift. You may want to secure your moorings and recover your vision before trying to faithfully describe it. Like aiming a rifle sometimes at a mile-away target. Even one unexpectedly heavy or aberrant heartbeat can throw the shot off by meters.

Work project blew up on me. Luckily, the need for the project did not go away, and we are coming at it again in a different way, with renewed determination and additional resources committed to make it work better this time. Unluckily, it continues at a high level of pressure and responsibility and the new time projection is 10-20 weeks.
No vacation, no travel for the duration. I can get away but it looks terrible if someone in the Company or in my work group finds out. So SW and I have agreed to enjoy the fruits of the remodel of our house, and where we live. It's a very nice area and there is so much here, anyway.

He is trying to make more money than most people ever see. It's quite an effort, and it takes a heavy toll. SW is more accustomed to being the highest priority, which she effectively is, in an indirect sort of way.

Glad to hear from you. Sorry you will not be able to head to Europe this time of year like normal.

Quick update:
As noted above, the work project continues. It got really rough Apr-Jun and then came apart. I'm in a better place now with the relaunch.
Our dog passed, I believe I mentioned it was happening and happened. SW took it hard and continues to grieve. She took in a foster dog as a temporary caretaker, then fell in love with it, and it was adopted out this week. Now she is heartbroken on that point.
We continue with the therapist, but had a break for a few weeks while the therapist took maternity time off.
SW texted me a new word a few days ago: uxorious
Any interpretations on what she was hinting at?

I continue to find so much satisfaction in the image and fantasy of her being taken by her trainer in his private studio, twice a week. The Hotwife Sue images make it seem so much more realistic and possible. Love her and those images!

Sorry to hear about your dog. It's one of the emotionally painful experiences one can endure. I know how devastating it is as a pet lover.
uxorious - I don't know what she's saying. Overly committed or submissive to her? I really don't understand unless it's by the formal definition. I'm assuming it wasn't a typo. Perhaps you are doting too much on her but I think she would like that.
