Interesting results. They make sense when you think about disposable income for swinger parties etc....and then the drop off for the older execs and workaholics.

This survey, assuming it's a valid cross section, is skewed toward much higher than average earning power. From that, the following may be inferred, albeit by no means deduced. Stag husbands (or hotwifing couples) tend to be well educated. There is likely a higher IQ in this group. It's been commented on that higher IQ tends to be more capable of compartmentalization within the mind, which, in turn, is conducive to compersion. Here's where I go out on a limb. Highly educated, highly intelligent, high income earning men may attract wives who far more desirable sexually than their brainy husbands. The husbands are smitten by the highly sexed women but can't fully satisfy them. Some of these nerdy guys eroticize their own inadequacy (cuckholds), others, the stag type men, turn their wives lovers into avatars through which they sublimate their wives' passions derivatively and the avatar bulls' vicariously. All of these projections require a lot of mental horsepower to pull off, and compensate for the lack of being hung like a horse to go with it.

It would appear, from the stats so far, that HW'ing is more common among the comfortable class, certainly starting at 75K and above, the representation of HW's is significantly higher.

Does this possibly relate to having recreational time available?
Very few HW's earning 25K and under, my guess is they have to spend more time working.
