Wife gets emotionally involved with her Lovers...........this has caused some problems over the years, and one guy came VERY close to breaking us up completely. So occasional regrets.

Wife has been, at times, very enthralled by the attention of a new lover. But we've always worked through it just fine.
No significant post-coital regret. Of course the libido-drop is pretty harsh when a guy is still taking your wife pretty hard and will keep doing so for a while yet. But she's her own person, she's loving it, and it's not about me. Fetishising the "hotwife" thing too much is not fair on her.

I voted for option 2. But what we (especially I) regretted, wasn't the fact, my wife had a lover. I regret, that I couldn't handle her falling in love with him. But there wasn't a risk to our marriage at any time. But now I'm emotionally grown to handle it. I'm looking forward to the day they'll meet again. I told her, I was okay with her staying with him over night. As he is married too he assured me, having no intention to "steal" my wife from me. He is very happy with this situation as a poly relation. And so is my wife, of course.
I'll benefit indirect at this arrangement, as my wife is almost always aroused.

curious62 - What does your wife say to you about her having a lover? Does she tell you her thoughts, feelings, desires - as they relate to your support for her to HAVE a boyfriend?
I'm always wondering if the wives tell their husbands how much they appreciate the "hall pass" they have, and how much they love their husbands for giving them that support. Do they tell their husbands how great the sex is, how happy they are since having a boyfriend or "friend with benefits" ? Do they wish they had started dating-on-the-side sooner? How much do the wives share their thoughts & feelings about their new love lives?

On a more serious note, so glad we did this.
Partly, wish we had sooner…but, then again, we weren’t ready to be here until recently, so the timing is about right.
