Our kids also seemed to figure it out in their early to mid-teens despite our best efforts. none seemed to have an issue with it.

Our daughter, too, found out about her mother dating other men as a early teen, and seemed to have no issue or problems with it. It certainly made things easier once she found out, because we didn't have to have my wife sneak around or make up excuses when she went out. You may be overreacting and pulling at straws trying to get them together. I might suggest you take a more natural approach to getting them together. Putting them in a comfortable situation and letting nature take its course !!
