Hi Skoot, apparently this outdoor bbq is a better idea than my old gear that has worked for years, now it all has to be brick built. Like the Kamado idea, looks a challenge. A friend's got one of these Egg bbq, he can do anything on it, but Christ is it a stupid price nearly 2k.
And yes Dawn has been consulting with Roger on the design, he's been highlighting the finer points and putting his views forward. Glad I put the solar panels out for the tub, that's a lot of hot water.

It sounds like Dawn wants to create an outdoor room with a BBQ kitchen setup. This concept is becoming very popular in Australia and it can feel like of extension of the house. You can set the space to work well in winter time as well through heaters. I guessing that Dawn wants to create the ultimate space for entertaining for friends (e.g. Ray & Tony) and family, so a pool will be on the cards.

Mark , so if Tony is the pilot, will he let you take the controls to build up your hours? Sounds like a nice trip! Are you taking the girls and making a weekend of it?
I got mine during lockdown, the wife made me scrap three other BBQs: a Weber kettle, a Weber smoker, and a homemade tandoori oven. The Kamado (or Big Green Egg, same idea) does both low and slow or hot and fast. Have a look at Smoking Dad BBQ on YouTube; I think he's the best out there for showing what you can do. Just don’t bother with the DoJoe pizza attachment, I hardly ever use mine. In fact, he’s just moved from Kamado to the Big Green Egg.
I added a small Gozney for quick pizzas. The Kamado makes the best pizzas, but for just the two of us, I wanted something smaller. I’m actually taking it to Le Mans this week, as I now use it for all sorts of cooking, not just pizza.
I do wish I’d gone all out and bought the big one (the £1k model) — just more space. Your grandkids will love making their own pizzas; it’s a nice little hobby.

Dawn: Hello everyone. Sorry for the delays, what with work and a little play, I’ve been so tied up. and also for it being a bit of a tome, but I'm pretty much up to date.
On Thursday I went to see James at Petersfield before going on to meet Kit for lunch. He seemed really well and on the ball, which made me very happy. Crafty old bugger showed me into the kitchen for a coffee and squeezed my arse as he blindsided his wife. I stayed for an hour and chatted about things in general, and anything especial I should deal with? He waited till she’d gone for more coffee and told me, she has a 'gentleman friend' tucked away and she disappears a couple of evenings a week, comes home late, tired and dishevelled. I looked shocked, he chuckled and said she and he had never got on so well. So all was good. Time to leave, he showed me to the door, pinched my bum again, so when he gave me a kiss goodbye on the cheek, I put his hand on my boob, he didn’t need prompting.
I fair skipped to the car and went to the French restaurant for lunch with Kit. I wore a white, buttoned front, collared blouse, semi see through, you could definitely see my nipples, black knee length pencil skirt with heels. When I was visiting James, I wore my black jacket for decencies sake, well his wife’s, but that didn’t apply to Kit, he loved the secretarial look and took a couple of sly prods at my nipples, which rose up.

The conversation became easier and although humour wasn’t her first line, she did relax. Funnily as she closed the call she mumbled that she’d enjoyed our ‘time’ and had no regrets, said goodbye and hung up. There were butterflies rampant in my tummy.
Kit was enthralled, he had also rung Freya on the Tuesday, supposedly for business, but really to check if I had phoned, which I hadn’t then, she questioned him about me, which seemed positive, without either letting the other know they knew, if that makes sense. It was a lovely lunch, the wine prices were robbery so I said not to bother and had a vodka and tonic. He told me his wife was in full flow with the boyfriend and she seemed to be much less neurotic now, which made for a more peaceful life and she no longer asked questions, and she shagged Kit more than ever now. After a 2 year drought.

I got home around 7ish, Mark made me a sandwich and a glass of really top quality red wine, but without the ridiculous price tag. He told me about his day, and sat pensively waiting to hear about mine, which I delivered on the sofa.
Although both men are great lovers, their styles are so different, both very satisfying. Kit is rougher, Mark is gentle, firm and always makes me come first, then delivers half a gallon of come wherever he wants it to go. Never mind where I want. Luckily we have good showers.
Yesterday afternoon I drove from the office up to Mike’s near Midhurst, out of civilisation. I’ve started to use the old SL more now, it is low tech but soo sexy. The attention I get on the road is mind blowing. My darling husband has put my personal number plate on it, that is so kind and not what I expected. My turn to do him a favour.
Again the weather struck and we had afternoon tea in his lovely lounge in big brown chesterfield chairs and sofa’s while we watched it pour down over the Downs. Mike, though Irish, is a real country gentleman just oozing class. I had worn a dark blue, polka dot, swirly, strappy sun dress, below the knee, low but not too low front showing nice tanned cleavage, in a silky material which felt very tingly to me and I hoped him.
He asked me to sit on his knee in the big armchair, which I obliged, and pretty soon the straps were down and his mouth clamped over my nipple making my tummy sparkle. The zip at the back came down and after a bit of wriggling, only my shoes remained. Another guy whose style is slow and steady and brings the best/worst out in me. I got his trousers, socks and shoes off and just left his shirt open so I could attack his nipples. Amazingly he didn’t even know this turned him on, so my contribution to him. I made a joke of Mark’s dilemma on a wet grass airstrip, I said he was considering buying an old Land Rover just for flying days, wasn’t he silly buying a car that doesn’t like grass, haha. Mike's no fool, smiled, said he understood the predicament, said he still had the old Range Rover in his stable of cars, did I think Mark might consider that? Ooh, What a wonderful idea Mike. He called me an old fraud, pushed me onto my knees on the carpet, I took the hint and launched into a very special blow job which had him wriggling, moaning, telling me it was the best in the world. I try, but modesty forbids.
Afterwards we went out to look at the car, it is quite beautiful. So much more ‘presence’ than the new ones. As expected, Mike, on the spur of the moment has a thing of bending me over cars, in this case I had to hold onto the bumper while we sealed the deal. I stood up, re-arranged my dress, shook his hand and kissed him. We made arrangements to attend his party on Friday 13th (lucky), next week, I promised to bring Ray and Cheryl. Mike thanked me for connecting him with Coral, who is doing the arrangements and will be there, a load off his mind. I put on my coat and went to my old car and drove home, feeling very wet but rather pleased with myself.
So Mark, by the time you read this (Sunday), when you open the garage door, you will have found waiting for you, a very lovely, green 1993 Range Rover Autobiography LSE. Surprise!!!
Now Mark, this one likes grass. You’ll have to arrange your own number plate though. Love you!!

Mark must be very happy to have his new Range Rover, probably never been on wet grass in its life before, so it’ll be a new experience! At least it won’t get grounded, a lovely present Dawn.

All the pilots/instructors will be jealous of Mark’s new classic green 1993 Range Rover Autobiography LSE car, when he takes to air field. It will turn more heads than a brand new Range Rover. Mark now needs to find some very quite fields to take the Range Rover onto wet grass because I’m guessing that Dawn and Lisa, possibly Ray, are interested in shag dates in the back of the classic car in a field. Dawn did drop the biggest hint that she wants this type of date with hubby.

Feeling pretty humble at the moment. The ever-loving has, as you knew before me, bought me a lovely old 1993 Land Rover. It really is magnificent. On the dash there’s an empty tin can attached by string for making phone calls, incredible tech. We thought we were the business in the 90’s. I always wanted a Mk1 Range Rover but the 3.5 litre V8 drank fuel at 20/5mpg, not only could I not afford to buy one but I definitely couldn’t afford to run it, maybe the same applies to this one? Looking at the spec, this one is 4.2 V8 so God knows? Sort of apple green, 2/3 feet longer than the standard one, and doesn’t seem to wallow like the std ones, still don’t steer these, you aim them.
That V8 burble. To you Yanks that’s normal, but us Brits, wow. So guys, I am now a farmer.
I knew something was up when, yesterday, Sunday 9am I was told WE were going to John Lewis store in Horsham to choose new bedding. I don’t have those skills. Anyway, ushered out and into her other extravagant purchase to drive north. Once the nonsense was out of the way and 2 unnecessary coffees, we headed home. My car and Dawns were parked on the front apron, they were in the garage last night, then, though a pleasant surprise, my eldest James, was waiting for us grinning like something stupid. This smelled fishier than one of Dawn’s apple pies. (Blackadder)
As we walked around the back of the house by the garage, Dawn pressed the remote, the door went up and boom, smack in the middle of garage floor, there it was, The Beast. Stunned, I almost burst into tears. Everything was original and in incredible condition. Never mind grass, this had never seen rain. Opening the door, the smell of old leather and oil; yes I had an erection! The organisation, Mike had driven it down from Midhurst and James had run him back, then driven like a madman for the big unveil.
Oh yes, just to quench your interest, we did buy new sheets and pillowcases.
A couple of minutes on the iMac to arrange road tax and insurance. I have to pay tax till 2033, bastards! Off to James and Liz’s for Sunday lunch with Mike and Nuala and the granddaughters in my new old car. Dawn has decided to transfer title of her E class rag-top to James, I knew he was hinting like mad for that and he can use it for work, and she will just use the SL. Now we’re both a couple of old fogeys living in the past.
When I have quiet time to myself, I get a little concerned, things are going so well for me at the moment, fingers crossed this continues. Not a pessimist - just a realist.
On a lighter note - The more I think about it, what with a wayward, headstrong wife, out of control dil’s - really the Addams Family have nothing on my family.

Mark glad you are finally getting the rewards for all your hard work. Knowing the details to how the Range Rover was acquired has got to add to the excitement of owning it. As happy as I am for you getting it, it pales in comparison to how hot I am that Dawn finally called Freya. Like everyone else I am really looking forward to that update.
