New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
It’s interesting how I am seeing more and more being published about non monogamous relationships. IMO, those of us in NM relationships need to “come out of the closet” and tell our stories…good and bad.
At least for Susan and I, it has been an amazing journey together. We have already been involved with 3 university studies on NM.
For anyone here that would like to tell their story… The Guardian is looking for your experience to publish anonymously if you so desire.
Just Google “The Guardian Non monogamous” and it should come up.
I’m curious how many people here will participate…please comment here if you will participate, or why you don’t feel comfortable participating. Thanks in advance !

What is "The Guardian"?
I like to know a bit about an organization and where /how it may use any information I provide. I realize that every site we visit (e commerce, news, etc) catalogs our interactions, but prior to voluntarily offering up details about my personal activities, I would need to do my own due diligence.
and while I'm on the subject, I do not give anyone permission to copy, or reproduce any content that I may provide on this forum.

The Guardian is a very well-respected independent (left-leaning) newspaper in the UK. They broke the Snowden story among other things.
If you can trust anyone, you can trust the Guardian. These are guys who would eat broken glass before breaking confidentiality. I can't think of a news organization with more integrity.

The Guardian is an international newspaper, based in the UK. It has online International, US, European, Australian and UK editions. On the home page, top right is a yellow circle with three lines in it. This is the menu access. Click, and look for which edition is currently being shown to you. Click the 'arrow' to get the drop down list of the other editions available to you.
There's a great mix of articles, with pages for different things like sport, travel, business, politics, arts etc, as well as news.
Also, do a search for a series of articles it's been running, called "This is how we do it". It has a different couple each time (hetero, bi, gay....whatever) with each partner writing about their sex life. Haven't come across any cuck or hotwife stuff, yet. But there is tremendous variety there. All very interesting.
It's free to access, but it does have subscription available. Please subscribe if you can. It is truly an independent newspaper, and has broken many stories that other 'newspapers' won't touch. It's a daily newspaper founded in 1821.
Thanks for the heads up, MarknSusan.

Hi MarknSusan,
I greatly appreciated your heads up on continuing scholarly research on NM relationships. Knowledge would be a benefit to everyone.
If my wife trusts a person, she is not reticent about answering questions. The potential problem would be security of research data. If it were leaked, could identities be at risk.
We are extremely careful about preventing our kids from finding out that their angelic mom is a bedroom porn star. More realistically, we're tepid compared to most posters here. Moreover, my wife has confidently told me many times that she's no different from most married women who know euphoric sex and crave it except she's willing to pursue her fantasies when perfect conditions arise (no pun intended).

There was also a book by the wife on an open marriage reviewed recently in both the New York Times and The Washington Post. It's called MORE.

Thanks to all of you for your comments so far.
Isinlarsa thank you for sharing that book. For those that want to read the reviews on MORE author is Molly Roden Winter and make sure you search it using “more” all capital letters.

My wife told me many years ago and many times since that HWing is more common than people think, and more women want to do it if their husbands would permit them.
Re: New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
I'm sure lots of married women have extramarital sex. Some women don't ask their husbands to permit it. That's the difference is between the cheaters and the howives.Tank Turner wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 8:32 amMy wife told me many years ago and many times since that HWing is more common than people think, and more women want to do it if their husbands would permit them.
Re: New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
This isn't a "study" or "scholarly research" on anything. It's a newspaper feature article with a sexy theme to get clicks.Tank Turner wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:21 amHi MarknSusan,

Re: New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
Thanks for the reply’s so far. I am looking forward the the Guardians final results when they get published!
Re: New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
As I mentioned above, they are already running a regular article called "This is how we do it", about real couples sex lives, written by each couple. Which is well worth reading. If the non-monagomous articles are similar then they will be worth reading too.
Nothing wrong with publishing something in order to get 'clicks'. An online publication is hardly going to publish only articles that would have no interest to anyone.
You can just imagine how something like this would be treated by the rest of the scummy 'newspapers' published in the UK.
Re: New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
I have no problem with them publishing what may, or may not, be real stories of people sex lives and have no problem with them trying to get clicks. I just think it should be clear that this is simply a newspaper feature with no academic or scholary intent.trecital wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 11:54 pmAs I mentioned above, they are already running a regular article called "This is how we do it", about real couples sex lives, written by each couple. Re: New Study on Non Monogamy- chance to participate
Agreed.
But, it will almost certainly be handled without the titillation and sensationalism that the rest of the UK gutter press would doubtless give it.
I have read most of the 'This is how we do it' articles and have found them very interesting.

Geeze Veub, lighten up. Let me guess. You are a PhD that needs to make a point and will not let go.
My orginal post was clear that if someone in this lifestyle wanted to tell their story, the Guardian was looking for input.
Where did you read that this was an academic or scholarly? If you have no problem with clicks why did you even mention it?
I apologize to you or anyone else with my use in the title “Study”. In hindsight, I should have better worded the title and said it’s an “inquiry” by a publication using your story to make money.

I wouldn't have said anything except for this post:
