Male and female masturbation and orgasms
Male and female masturbation and orgasms
So ive read that men should not masturbate at all.
Sex is permitted if they get it, but jerking off is detrimental.
This is not the case for women?
Can anyone help shed light on how this works? What arr the drawbacks.
I am currently living anal only, as requested by my bf. And i understand that male and women sexuality and orgasms are not at all equal.

Re: Male and female masturbation and orgasms
I am a believer that masturbation is natural for both men and women. I jacked of all the time when I was young. Way younger than most people believe males are doing such things. Women also masturbate and some way way more than others. Noting wrong with it. I encourage my wife to do it. She can cum over and over so why not. She can be lubed and primed for me and do me also. As age takes it toll I masturbate less as I save it for her but use it or lose it and enjoy it. Jack off and fantasize and enjoy.
Re: Male and female masturbation and orgasms
I'm pretty sure the general expert attitude is that masturbation is healthy and normal, regardless of gender. The healthfulness of porn use, however, is less clear. There are many indications that extreme/excessive porn consumption can cause stimulation/response disruptions, which can negatively impact interpersonal sexual relationships. There can also be detrimental psychological effects, especially when consumed by young people. Things like addiction and negative impacts on subjective self-image can result. It can also skew expectations toward real sexual relationships.
So to sum up: masturbation is good/fine. *Excessive* porn consumption CAN be detrimental.
Edit: I should add, method of masturbation can be a factor. Use of devices, such as high rpm vibrators, can lead to desensitization which can make ability to orgasm without them more difficult. However, I would leave that to the individual to decide for themselves. If someone finds the use of vibes to makes them struggle to achieve orgasm without the vibe, maybe that is a problem... though maybe not. If it was a problem, there are other toys now that don't rely on extreme vibration for stimulation, and so they may not have the same desensitizing drawback. For example, the "womanizer" type toys use a rapid but light suctioning effect on the clitoris that I don't find to cause the noticable desensitization that high rpm vibes seemed to.

Masturbating is by no means bad for men or women. That's an old, old wives tale which has debunked many times
Re: Male and female masturbation and orgasms
Well i am 70 and have masturbated up to 3 times a day for years. I find that if I don't, then I cum too quick during a real fuck. Never have any problem getting it up. Use it or lose it.
A nicely filled wife is a happy life
Re: Male and female masturbation and orgasms
There is a passage in the bible which admonishes that you shall not let your seed fall upon the ground. Some religious people take that as it is a sin to masturbate. There is probably some connection between this and what some people heard when we were young, "if you masturbate you will go blind". Some religious people believe porn' is bad because it causes "lust in your heart" instead of towards your mate. I think a more common problem with porn is we may tend to believe something may be normal when, to most people, it is not e.g. sibling porn, ten inch penises, etc. It is also true that women can recover more quickly from an orgasm (intercourse or masturbation) than can most men, but that is more to do with simple biology that anything else.
So, to answer your question, most things in excess are not good, including orgasms, masturbation, and chocolate cake. Sex, including orgasms and masturbation, to the majority of the population, is not a bad thing and is not dangerous. That "anal only" thing sounds to me is unsound, unless it is a weird way not to get pregnant.

Where did you read that? Did you think it was a reputable, possibly medical article or was it maybe a religious text?sana9889 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:26 amSo ive read that men should not masturbate at all.
