Of course it is possible.

It's definitely possible.

My wife and I made a pact early on that if either of us wanted to hard stop, we would. So three months into doing it, I got cold feet and exercised the veto with the intention it was over forever. She complied, and we stopped for the next three months. During that time, I retooled emotionally and the rest is history.

The endorphins become addictive, no doubt. But like with most addictions, it can be overcome with willpower, discipline, and fending off the inevitable cravings for the next fix. I would have posed it as a question that challenged rather than offended you - like how difficult would it be to stop? I remember you saying hotwifing wasn't just a lifestyle but part of your identity. So would stopping necessarily mean shedding your persona? Rob and I have stopped a couple of times before. Both mostly because of my mental health. But it was easy for me to take a break and say no more. It’s all about the communication when it comes to stopping and/or restarting. Making sure you are on the same page is key.

Its not about being weak. Its more that we enjoy the freedom and power. Its unatural going back.
