Hotel takeover tips?

My wife was interested in going to a local hotel takeover. Neither of us have ever been to one, was hoping people would have some tips. Going to swinger clubs is fun but a bit awkward because people don't automatically know we are hotwifing.

What is a 'hotel takeover'?

Sounds like something from a terrorist movie....

Been to quite a few and they are absolutely my favorite part of the ls tips from my first time?
Keep in mind you're not walking into an orgy. Relax, there has been no pressure experienced on our end.
Talk to people like you would at a regular party. Don't go gung-ho right out of the gate.
Watch the drinking.
Smile more.
Establish the boundaries with your partner well in advance, if you find a couple you like you won't want to leave them alone while you figure it out.
Discretion is always appreciated.
Have fun, have no expectations.
Voyeur/exhibitionist? Find the red room and watch or put on a show.

We've been to a couple. Not somebody renting out the entire hotel but, they would rent a ballroom for a meet and greet then, they would have a couple suites rented for the "after party".

Get your own room. We've seen where the suite was so jam packed you couldn't even find someone there. Another time, the hotel was also being rented for a local cheerleading competition. It was good to have our own room because the cops came to the the after party suite.

We didn't hear about all of it until the next morning.

Bad scene. I hope that they are better for you moving forward.
We did end up at one that wasn't a whole hotel takeover and it was the absolute worst.

Thanks for the tips. One question - is it easy to leave and come back? We live close by and don't want to stay the whole time (it is two nights). Wasn't sure how they worked that with the ticketing, etc.

We've had stamps and wristbands. We've always been able to come and go.

That would be great. Also, do they have a phone policy? Clubs are pretty strict about them. I assume they aren't as much at a hotel, but assume there is some policy. Definitely would like to get some videos.

You'll need consent from everyone in the shot, if phones are allowed.
I've seen content creators in the red room, but they, had worked it out with organizers in advance.

Speaking of, usually the organizers are VERY hospitable and easy to talk to. You could ask them for these details and have a better chance at 100% accuracy than you will with us.
