Amy's Self Discovery ... continued

Hi all, I know it's been a while, so long in fact that my original posts have disappeared due to inactivity. It's actually been about two years, because there's been nothing happening on the hotwifing front to write about. But I'm hopeful that is about to change soon.
Quick catch-up. I don't know if any of you remember but after a good few years of hoping my wife Amy would sleep with another man she finally did, just to please me initially. She's a teacher (business studies) and had always been quite demure and proper, elegant in her dress sense and very beautiful. She was amazing when she did it and I loved her even more knowing how difficult it was for her to basically change her character for me.
Over a period of about a year she had two lovers, each of whom lasted a couple of months before fizzling out.
Covid came, and we were both very ill. Amy was hospitalised and took quite a while to recover. My business was expanding and I was struggling to cope, but with Amy's help and business nous we got back on track and had a better work/life balance, but the LS had to take a back seat. Quite vague I know, but that brings us up to date.
Business is going very well and Amy has taken a leave of absence from her job to work for the company. She's our financial director and also takes on the role of purchasing and negotiating deals with suppliers etc. etc. This will become relevant shortly.
Over the last year or two I only casually mentioned hotwifing every now and then. She never showed much enthusiasm for it so I didn't push it. She's had a couple of lunch dates but that's as far as they got. There was no connection, no spark there. There's been a change though.
One evening two weeks ago we were settling down after dinner and I noticed she was being very quiet, deep in thought. I asked if anything was bothering her and if everything was ok. "I'm fine," she said, "but I do have something to tell you. There's a guy I quite like."
My heart started to beat a little faster, knowing how choosy she is, and trying to look only slightly interested I asked her to go on. “I've liked him for quite a while now, but never acted on it because, well, it's someone you know, and I didn't think you'd approve.” She said.
We had agreed from the start that she would have full control over who she wanted to sleep with but not with anyone we know as it would be risky from a discretion point of view.
“ It's Ryan from Abc Electrical Suppliers.” (not the real company name)
“I remember him, I used to buy from him before you took over purchasing,” I replied, Tall, about 30? I've dealt with him a few times.”
“Actually, he's 29. “ she smiled.
Amy went on to tell me how she found Ryan attractive when he first started visiting her office with trade deals. After a few visits he began flirting very subtly with her and her first thoughts were that he was trying to get her to buy more from him. She's a very shrewd operator and that was never going to work with her.
But then he started calling in to her office when he didn't actually need to, or calling her on the phone about something trivial just to talk to her.
“There's just something about him,” she explained, “His confidence, the way he carries himself, his outgoing friendly demeanor, not to mention he's very good looking.” She grinned.
Ì asked if he'd directly came out with it and asked her out, or if she'd flirted back or encouraged him.
“ I think he was testing the waters to see if I was interested, so I gave him just a few little hints that I might be, but nothing more. I wanted to talk to you about it first.” She said, and I could detect a little flicker in her eyes that told me she wanted him. “ He knows you're my husband so I'm not sure how serious he is, but he said he hoped to see me at the charity function on Friday night.”
Every year we attend an industry charity function where we raise funds for various deserving charities. It's always in an up-market hotel with the usual round of speeches, music and dancing. It's usually a good night out although you always bump into people talking shop which bores me to tears.
“I've always trusted your judgement Amy, but I think we better discuss this more over the weekend before we do anything else,” I told her.
Amy agreed, and I could see a slight look of relief on her face.
So that's where we are at the minute, and after we weigh up the pros and cons over the next few days I'll post an update
