We will be married 50 years in Dec, together for 52. A friend of mine recently asked me, how do you keep it so hot? He and his wife have been married 35 years. he readily admitted to me that she was nothing like my wife, the things my wife has done is nothing she would have ever considered. Full disclosure, he fucked my wife in a 3-some with me , then fucked her without me there numerous times. At his engagement party he pulled her aside, stuck his hand down her top, and told her now that I am getting married, we can have a real affair. That never happened, but that is a story for another day. He and I have never discussed him being with her, although he has to know I know because she tells me everything. Anyway, I have been pondering the question since he asked me, and have not given him a response yet, because I am not 100% sure what the right answer is. I think part of the reason is what we have done in the past, still fuels interesting conversations. Recently my wife was asked by a neighbor if she wanted to have a 3-some, and another neighbor asking her if she ever considered having an affair. She had no interest in either proposal, but the fact that she could come to me openly is a major factor, plus the fact that if it was the right guy, she'd jump at the chance. I think the fact that my wife's sexual favors were never exclusively mine, that she had the freedom to enjoy her sexuality and could share her adventures with me helps to keep it hot. She didn't have that many men over the years, there were a few one and dones, but the men she enjoyed she got to enjoy numerous times. We obviously do not have sex as often as we did in our 20's. I guess my answer to him is going to be, my wife was never restricted in what she could do, which led to adventures that she could share with me, and that we look forward to adventures still to come.

To answer your question “How do you keep it so hot” I would mention at least with us is, we have been non monogamous for more than 30 years, so being open with each other about our likes has been easy. We are also both highly sex positive even now into our 60’s.

We are both very active and are in good physical shape, but sometime in our late 50’s Susan’s libido changed from wanting to have sex several times a week to about once a week, which was better than some of our friends who lived like non sexual roomates.

Then a couple of our good friends told us about Hormone Replacement Therapy for women and Testosterone for men. We decided to give it a try about five years ago and it was, and is, one of the most incredible life changing experiences we could have ever imagined.

Our sex lives are actually better now than when we were younger. And when we your younger we were like rabbits..LOL.
