How do you think the coming ban of pornography will affect hotwifing?
When we lost Craiglist it made it a trickier to find guys. The guy we finally met was a on a swinging site, but those are likely to go away soon as well. How many of you (in the USA anyway) have even thought about this issue? The Supreme Court ruling is due this month.

The case is not about banning porn. It is about a Texas law thats been in effect since '23 that requires porn sites to take "reasonable measures" to verify that users are 18 or older. Pretty sure Texans are still getting porn.

As Allinfun said, it has nothing to do with banning porn.
So, I think the coming porn ban is so much bullshit. Actually reading about the case would answer all of that.

The age gating in the Texas law is just the camel's nose under the tent flap, as they say. Oklahoma is enacting a stricter law with penalties like $10k for possession. It will be challenged, but eventually this stuff all winds up at the Supreme court and they are chipping away at it until they clear a path for a national ban. That is the Project 2025 plan, similar to what they did with the abortion ban. Until it's a national law, it will be sketchy, but there are powerful forces working towards it. They have to time things to not screw up 2026 elections, so it's probably a year or more away. I thought it was interesting that the Oklahoma law exempts sexting/photos between a married couple. Must be some hotwives in the legislature there. LOL

Not going to happen. There's too much money in porn, and this government is all about the money.
The president is not only a porn watcher, he paid $$$$$$$ to fuck a porn star.

There is no "coming ban on pornography."
We think keeping porn away from children is a good thing. We enjoy whiskey and an occasional fine cigar, and don't think letting kids have those things is a good idea either.

I hope it allows the porn police the boost they need to track down anyone who posts unverified pictures or pictures of minors and lock them up for life.
I hope it forces moderators of sites to ban forever anyone posting stories about underage sexuality
I hope it gives the boost to change the age of consent to 25 when the human brain has actually fully developed

I agree with Bryce 69. It is important to protect our youth from perversion at that age

Oklahoma is NOT enacting such a law. One senator, for the second time, introduced a bill with no co-sponsors. Nothing else and nothing to indicate that the bill will even get a committee hearing.nostringsorworries wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 6:05 amThe age gating in the Texas law is just the camel's nose under the tent flap, as they say. For that matter there is no "abortion ban."

I’m with you, Bryce.
It’s all fun, but leave the kids out of it.

The AI response to this question
“No, pornography is not expected to be banned in the United States. While there are some restrictions on pornography, particularly concerning child pornography and its distribution to minors, the general consensus is that adult pornography is protected under the First Amendment right to free speech”

Conspiracy theroies continue to abound. And, just a teeny tiny bit of research would show the truth.

Re: How do you think the coming ban of pornography will affect hotwifing?
The cases recognizing pornography as a form of free expression protected by the First Amendment have a deep pedigree. These precedents won't be swept away in our lifetime. The "chipping away" debate focuses on time, place and manner restrictions - keeping it away from children, an interest in which the States have much greater regulatory leeway.MarknSusan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 13, 2025 5:24 amThe AI response to this question
