Hey folks
Was wondering if I can get some support for an upcoming cruise that we’re taking in July. I’ve seen some posts on these but can’t seem to find them. So my sexy gorgeous hotwife has informed me that she may be looking to play on the cruise but we’re wondering if from your experiences if there’s some tips and tricks that you could be willing to share with us. I do know there’s cruises dedicated to that but we’re still not at the stage as of right now. What kind of cruise are you going on? I've been on four so far. All vanilla cruises, and I don't think they're a good place to try to hotwife. Maybe if you're on a more party-oriented ship than I was on? Perhaps someone else has had a different experience?

It’s a carnival one,
No it’s not one of the lifestyles one. Sorta just wanna take baby steps. She’s made it know that she maybe willing to play. So I was looking for tip and tricks for her and if anyone has experience how to navigate on a cruise if the mood to play comes about

My (hot)wife and I have been on a fair number of cruises, from Carnival to Holland America to/in different parts of the world. I agree with KevKevKev. I don't think they're a good place to try to hotwife. Mind you, we've never tried, but I've never seen a place nor an opportunity on a cruise ship where I thought we could find same "action". I believe, and it has happened to us, that we tend to believe that hotwife activity is of interest to many couples if only the opportunity presents itself. In reality, the very idea of hotwife activity is foreign if not abhorrent to most people.

I've been on a Royal Caribbean, a Norwegian, and two Princess cruises. Cruiselines tend to attract different age groups. I hear that Carnival is a party heavy line. A friend of mine did a Virgin cruise that was party heavy and the age group tended to be 30s to 50s. The Royal Caribbean one I went on was a little bit of party, and the age group skewed more toward the late 30's to mid 60's from what I noticed. The Norwegian and Princess were comparable in that there wasn't much partying and the age groups tended to skew more 50's and up. Obviously there were people of all ages, but that seemed to be the average. I think a good deal of it probably depends on where the cruise is going. The two Princess I did were to Alaska, and people are very much focused on their shore excursions. Plus, if it's colder up on the pool deck, there aren't going to be a ton of people drinking and hitting the hot tubs.
I'm assuming this is your first cruise, because you'd know that they're mostly floating buffets. It's a lot of middle age and older people eating a ton of food all day, gambling, and taking the elevator because god forbid they walk up a flight of stairs. The people who hang out at the bars - where you would hope to engage in some flirting and whatnot - are the sloppy drunks who start drinking at noon and keep the party going all day. Again, unsexy. Oh, and for the most part people are on the cruise with their spouse or their family, so that'll put a damper on any hotwife activity.
There are swingers on vanilla cruises! They'll decorate their doors with upside down pineapples. I don't know what they expect for you to do at that point, though. I'm not knocking on the door of a total stranger just because they have a pineapple there. How am I supposed to know if they're hot or not? I have questions!
Sorry to be a bummer! I'm sure some people have had luck there, but for the most part the deck is stacked against anything that you two would be interested in. Maybe hit up a swinger's cruise? You would definitely have better luck.

We are also going on a Mediterranean cruise in July and I was curious if there may be opportunities. Thank you for your asking and thank everyone for your perspectives.

Hmm, I have never been on a cruise, but I wonder if it would be uncomfortable if there was some involvement early in the week, and then you are stuck on the ship and running into the person for the rest of the week.

There are thousands of people on the ship. You might see some of the same people over and over at the buffet, but probably not. I don't think I ever run across the people in the cabins next door to us more than once.

Hubby and I are going on a carnival cruise in October with my long term lover, we are celebrating 30 years. I’ve saw on Facebook pages that you’re not supposed to have pineapples upside down or otherwise on your door. They are banned. We won’t try to meet anyone else. We are just there to vacay and enjoy and celebrate!

Great to hear all of your experiences. We went to a Carnival cruise. But we had few other couples and their kids as well . So couldn’t do anything. But already we have decided to go again end of this year. Also take 2 person with our expenses.

I've never been on a cruise but been to plenty of all inclusive resorts and S has played with guys a couple of times. Is there a nightclub on board? Could be a good hunting ground..

We went on a Take Over cruise in 2013 to the Caribbean. It was Lifestyle Only, adults only. There were 3 groups on the ship: vanilla cruise takers, nudists, and a small number of swingers.
