From experience with multiple cages the biggest concern is getting the ring size (around your balls) correct and being able to pee out of the hole. If the cage blocks your urethra it is not only painful but can back up the urine, cause a mess, infection or both. Some would say no, but eBay has a large selection for between $20-$30 so buy a couple styles and try them out.
