So I confided in a friend that me and my wife are having problems and may end up divorced. I said well I’ve heard that there are a lot of single women on these dating and hook up apps and so it should be easy finding a women with healthy sex libido.
His response floored me! He is in his late 50’s and said it’s shitty out there. All the women in their 50’s are not looking for men their age or older. He said all of the younger men are now into older MILF’s and the women our age or slightly younger who he is interested in are all looking for 30’s-40’s men. Perhaps just for sex but he made it sound like women our age wont even consider someone thier age or older. All they want are the younger men now. Like the tables have totally turned.

Nope. I know two men in their 80's with incredibly busy dating lives. I am convinced that for men dating doesn't really change with age: you have to have game to get women. True for dudes in their 20's, 40's, 60's, and 80's. Looks, fitness, charm, happiness, not being broke all count. Depressed, addicted, out of shape, angry, broke dudes will not get dates at any age.

I can't speak for what older women on dating sites are looking for, but I can confirm that my 50-year-old wife attracts a lot of guys in their 30s and early 40s and she seems to prefer that age range.

Just my 2 pennies, but I think this is because of two reasons. Guys under 30 are the age of our kids, so that might seem weird to her (although she will definitely fuck guys in that age group) and guys in their 50s or older are more likely to have erection/performance issues.

Although my wife isn't a divorcee and although she had older lovers in the past, she seems to prefer younger guys recently. There have been boys (i have to call them that way) who were around 19.
