Wife going on a group trip to Greece - advice?

Unread post by paulallen4477 » Sun Feb 16, 2025 2:18 pm

Hello,

Lurker here. We (36m, 33f) have dabbled in this lifestyle, and she has slept with an old boss of her several times as well as some bulls off of fabswingers in the past.

I am busy with work and she needs a break from her work. I am thinking of buying her a tour to Greece for a week. It's one of those Contiki / Intrepid / G tour kind of things. I have asked the operator on the dates that we are interested in. It's about 11 people at the moment, more males to females, and mostly in mid 30s but ranging to 70.

I am happy to pay for this 7 day tour (getting her a solo room), and have her chill and see Greece in a safe environment. I also am extremely turned on by the possibility of her finding a FWB situation in the group setting where they spend a lot of time together.

Does anyone have any experience with how these things go on travel groups like this? I am also aware that I am sending her alone on this group (because I am unable to take time off). Is this a bad idea?

Many thanks

Hi. It sounds exciting. Is your partner aware of your plans? What does she think of a potential Greek hook-up?

She is vaguely aware and probably open to it. But it's her first time travelling alone (although we are relatively well traveled as a couple). I am hoping that she will have a good time but I don't quite know what the dynamics will be!

If you want her to find someone you need to tell her or let her know. Give her a hallpass or a heart to heart talk. She needs to know what you want if you expect to get it.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have definitely given her a hall pass, which she knows applies pretty much anywhere anytime. I would her to use it on this trip but I am not sure if it's the kind of trip where people engage in that kind of thing. I also don't want to be pushy. I will advise that she take off the rings since it's not wise to travel with diamonds anyway!

Odds are not good with a group as small as she is with but you can hope. I would think she might find a Greek in a bar there and have some fun. You need to let her know what you want. It's like telling a woman you lover her. We think she should know that but she has to hear it occasionally. She needs to know before going so she can get her head straight and just before going so it's fresh in her mind.

She isn't the type to pick someone up from a bar as she'll be 'solo' travelling, even if in a larger group. I was hoping that she would hit it off with someone in that group but we'll see. I was going to ask her to buy condoms at the airport, just in case, which I suspect may make it obvious!

She has a chance of hitting it off with someone in the group and especially if it is mostly men. I put condoms in my wifes stuff just to make sure she had some. She was with family members and her sister found the condoms. She turned around and broadcast it to the world. They were all good with it and it let the wife know what I wanted for sure.

Thanks for that. I have called the tour company and they said that it's mostly mid thirties, and more males than females. We'll see how it goes!

The travel company told me that there are two trips. One is about 6 people with even mix of male females, and the later one is 10 people with more males and mostly in mid thirties. While we're both keen on her traveling earlier than later, it seems that the 2nd trip is definitely better odds of her running into someone that she enjoys spending time with..

Hi, I am not sure it is a good idea. The chances are slim. Just ten people? Are they couples? Hmmmm. I know some swinger groups are doing parties in greece. Also there are some swinger friendly hotels in Crete and Rhodes. Maybe elsewhere as well

There were no single rooms available on the Greece tour, so I ended up booking a Spain tour for 2 more days! It's 18-35 only and she gets single rooms half the time, and hostels the other half. How should I ask her to leave the rings behind? We have already joked about whether she should use her hall pass...

Thanks for the updates. Regarding the rings, you could just be honest and say (1) it maybe safer to leave the rings at home, and (2) if she meets a hot European guy, it maybe easier to connect without rings.

The odds seem to be difficult.
