I write love letters to my wife at times thanking her for my happy marriage. I thank her for bringing Doug into our lives. I thank her how she talks about him and how she puts his needs above mine. I started this years ago when she felt guilty when she kissed another man. That was the first time I told her, her happiness is more important than mine. If a man excites her, as long as she understands she will always be my wife, she should follow her desires.
I have even written men thanking them for making my wife happy and how much he means to her.
