in response to the great wish.

four years ago, i posted here for the first time about life with my young ballerina
girlfriend Anna. we were 21 at that time. now, exactly four years later we are here
where we stand right now.

my diary of Anna on this forum has gained a certain popularity which has led to the
fact that some time ago the views have risen to over 16 million. this showed that the
forum system was overwhelmed by this number and it simply collapsed. it is still not
clear how this happened. the admins did their best and after a short time i was back
online and I was able to report on Anna's adventures.

this past december in 2024 i logged in wanted to write about the actual developments
but realised with surprise and increasing shock that my thread was gone. nowhere to find.

i wrote the admins and asked for their help but they couldn`t find it either nor was
a backup in the system. this went on and has gone back and forth for a while. i couldn`t
believe it was gone, without prewarning.

in this time i got lot`s of PM from you guys asking what was going on. there was even
a thread dealing with it: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=72129

what i can say and what i wrote to some of you (i just post it here for all to read another
time): it looks like my post is gone. the admins can`t restore it. this makes me kind
of sad, because it was fun to write about Anna`s adventures and to share it with you all.
i got so much positive feedback.
of course i could start a new one with all the things happened in the last few weeks (there
was some). but what i read from guys following Anna`s adventures from the start was that
they liked witnessing the evolution of her. this would be gone.
it amazed me that although i started four years ago i got feedback from readers that
started reading just recently. they had the opportunity to get to know Anna step by step.
that was maybe the special thing about the thread.
when i would start a new one this magic would be gone.
it is exactly four years ago and so much happened. i don`t have the time and the energy
to recap this past five years for readers who would start at this point.

i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has written in the meantime and
who has followed me over the last few years to see Anna's development from the innocent
student to the, well, never call her that, desirable slut.

Y_guy, I think you may not realize how much your many, many readers have emotionally invested in you, and care about you, as a person. Through your outstanding posts, we have come to know you (in that weird internet way), and through you, your most excellent ballerina. We want to hear how your new job is going, how Anna’s postgraduate study is going, how the two of you navigate living apart. And of course, Anna’s ICE-inspiring adventures.

I can understand the loss of the written history is extraordinarily frustrating. But I’d bet there are hundreds, maybe thousands of readers who well remember all that history, and who don’t need an archive to delight in your spectacularly delightful reports on a current basis. If some recent reader has a question about past events, I can assure you that there are many regulars here who can quickly provide a more than sufficient recap, without your having to repeat anything.

Of course, if you’re just weary of the whole exercise and want to concentrate on other things going forward, that’s understandable and completely your prerogative. But I, for one, would feel it as the loss of a friend, whose regular correspondence was especially entertaining and satisfying, and much anticipated.

If you really are saying farewell, then thank you, thank you, for your past effort, and all best wishes for the future.

Maybe the magic would be gone for the new readers, yguy, but for those of us who have been following yourself and Anna's magic from the start if you were you to continue it would be fully restored.

I think someone in the other thread has mentioned keeping your posts but not the other members' posts to whom you were responidng.
Half an hour of their time copy and pasting would establish a baseline for any neophytes' introduction to your out-of-this-world ballerina's delight.

We are many who are aching for you to keep us in your world, y_guy, after four years' investment in your thoughts, the antics of your and Anna's friends, your tension of those around your family who know and are part of Anna's erotic life, and the strangers that become ensnared in her attentions.

I was in contact wit Y_Guy per PM and I had the impression that he doesn't want to quit writting here. It is just that he feels he hasn't the time and the energy to rewrite all the past four years.

If you just start with the most recent events between you and Anna and her lovers, I will not feel any break in the continuity of your thread. Your readers already know the history and don't need you to recap it all. I am guessing there are enough readers with a thorough knowledge of your story that they could do a recap of the last 4 years in the library were it wouldn't disappear. You could link it on your new thread so any new readers can get caught up. If anything is wrong or missing you could jump in to correct but it would just be the facts minus your own feeling of ICE that you described in real time.

However, what I can say is that after I raised the point on the other thread about readers needing Y_guy permission in the form of an invite from him to rebuild his old thread, I messaged him.

I directly pointed that out to Y_guy without him starting a new thread. Then inviting us readers to rebuild his old thread on the new one, we were stuck. As you cannot repost without permission to do so from the original poster.

A few hours after he read my message, he started this thread...But there is no invite, and I have not had any direct private message reply from him.

So I have assumed that he is not interested, though I could be wrong, as his above post is a little ambiguous as to what he exactly wants.

Like most people here, I followed Anna's story from the beginning and was naturally disappointed when she disappeared from one day to the next.

Yes, it's true, I wrote to Y_Guy out of curiosity and posted the answer here. My impression was that he doesn't want to stop posting. He was legitimately concerned about the posts of the past.

I can totally relate to what he means when he talks about evolution and magic. After all, that's one reason why this post is a favourite for all of us. Why did we click into it week after week? Why did we join in the excitement when Anna went travelling? Why did we love it when she put her knees behind her head?

Or as Wittol so aptly puts it:

That's not bad at all. It's within 2 years so with the help of board members it would be easy to fill in what's happened since then and all the magic from the start is still available. How about it y_guy?

Not sure if admins are here, but I've worked in the web hosting field for a couple decades and have experience with restoring sites and mysql databases and am sure I could recover the posts from a backup.

Not into the live site, that's too much trouble, but I could extract the posts into a txt file or even an html file for readability, so they could be downloaded and read for the background to a new thread by y_guy.

I'm also willing to dox myself (to the admins only) to prove I can be trusted with the database, my last two jobs have been for trillion dollar tech companies, not just the corner store, to put that into perspective.

it is just the point about the past. i wrote that i think it is important
to watch the development of the realtionship with Anna. Gruenberg and
Wittol wrote it well, just above.

right now there are a few ideas going around. i have to thank all the
users on this forum to volunteer to help. this is really great. please be
patient. i hope there is a solution. i don`t know right now, but let`s think
positive.
