Video editor suggestions?
I have 100s of hours of my wife fucking other men and she says I can share them as long as I blur her face out. What is the best video editor out there for an amateur. Something simple and something that I dont have to upload the videos to the internet. I want a program that I can keep everything on my laptop.

Divinici Resolve is fantastic and the free version is very powerful. It does require a pretty decent processor, so you are warned. It also has a somewhat steep learning curve if you aren't used to node work flow. But it's pretty easy once you grasp it.

Possibly?
But I'd add this. There maybe easier editors (clipchamp is free with windows) but Divinici will track movement instead of masking a place on the screen. So if you use a tripod and it's a lot of static shots? Try Clipchamp. But if she moves around a lot and you don't want to spend forever masking? It'll take 10 minutes to learn on Davinci.

I use Shotcut for all of my needs. It's open source (free), quite powerful, and reasonably simple to use after a 10-20 minute learning curve.

Do you have to upload video to internet, or is it contained on my laptop?InigoMontoya wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 10:08 amI use Shotcut for all of my needs. It's open source (free), quite powerful, and reasonably simple to use after a 10-20 minute learning curve.

For editing, Abobe Premiere is my go to. However, Davinci Resolve is a good alternative and less expensive. Both have good face tracking features for blurring faces. There’s a bit of a learning curve with both programs, but well worth the effort if you want to blur faces and get the best out of your home videos.
As for improving low quality video (up sampling to higher res, noise removal, etc), Topaz Video AI is in a league of its own. I’ve been using it for a few years now to improve old homemade porn and testing as they release new AI models. This year they released a generative AI model that runs locally on personal computers called Starlight Mini. It’s very, very GPU intensive, but the quality is incredible. To give you an idea of how GPU intensive, I have an RTX 4070 graphics card and it takes around 7 hours to render 1 minute of original 1080p video and around 8 hours to render 2 minutes of 720p video.
Send me a PM if you want to discuss details.

Windows video editor Legacy version. It was fantastic then they pulled it out but it is still possible to download it separately.
