Wife told me last night that when she was in her 20's in her waitress days that she had a married boyfriend that was in his mid 40's. When he first asked her out he was waiting in the parking lot when she got off work to keep everything quiet.

As he told the story I realised by certain things that he said that the woman could be my wife.

That evening I took my wife out to dinner. During the meal, she asked about the fishing trip so I told her that the guy who went with us was one of the guys that she used to go fishing with. I almost laughed at the expression on her face. After a few minutes of silence, she asked what he told me about the fishing trips. I shook my head and said he just told me that I should ask you did you enjoy going fishing with them.

After another silence, while she looked directly at me with a red face she replied, "Yes, they were okay but the mosquitos were often a concern."

I couldn't help myself and burst out laughing to which she asked, "What's so funny."

"Nothing, It just sounds funny because usually, you dress on a fishing trip to protect against that."

I never did get an answer to that.
