Darling Stella,
I am totally happy with my little room at the back of the cottage. How considerate of you to think of it. I wouldn’t swap it for anything, especially with the view I had of you dressing as you prepared for your meet-up. Do you always wear stockings and suspenders when you are with Alex? And seeing you naked this morning as you drew up the blind, then dressing for work was a massive turn-on. I adored the show. Does Alex know did this, or is your dressing room your secret sanctuary?

Yesterday afternoon I walked down to the lake and sat in the hide to eat the sandwich that Lisa had prepared for me. It gives a splendid view over the water. Does Alex swim there?

Letter 36
Darling Richard,
It seemed right to give you a view of me dressing and undressing, especially knowing that I am preparing to have sex with Alex, or have just that moment returned from it. The thought that you are my voyeur at these times, but excluded from the main feature film, intensifies my pleasure with Alex and heightens my climaxes. Although he does not yet know about ‘my performances’ for you, I sense he would definitely approve, for he is the sole recipient of my enhanced libido. It is one of those win-win situations where you experience your desired erotic stress whilst watching, I get excited by being watched, and Alex is awarded another seriously satisfying orgasm. Should I tell him, or for now keep it as our secret?

What were you doing in the hide by the lake? I didn’t know you were an ornithologist? Did you notice the little island? Shortly after I arrived Alex took me down there to watch the geese arrive. And yes, apparently Alex used to swim there every week when a child. I prefer the little rowing boat myself!

Darling Stella,
I have loved being a voyeur, but must admit that recently I have been craving for more. I had imagined you and I might have had some time alone together when we could have talked about the roller-coaster of our lives since you met up with Alex. Online, many ‘experts’ speak of the importance of reconnecting as a way of confirming value. Don’t you think that this could work well for us?

What are your thoughts on the topic, and do you think that Alex might object?

I think Alex will definitely object. He might have some conditions for such reunions. I get the feeling Alex is a "look but don't touch" sort of bull, and that Stella will enjoy the power of Alex's possessiveness. Richard may need to learn to lean in to his masochistic predilections.

Letter 37
Darling Richard,
I am sorry I have neglected you. Over the last week it has been really difficult to get away. At least I see that you have been enjoying the view from your bedroom; I still haven’t told Alex about you watching me so it remains our secret still.

Speaking of secrets, I have an idea triggered by your last message. What if you and I meet on the little island in the lake on Sunday afternoon? On the far side there is a little cove where we can reconnect unseen. When Lisa brings your lunch to the orangery I will take the opportunity to slip away in the little rowing boat that is tethered below the hide. Ignore the hide and swim out to join me just after 1.30. As a special treat, I will ask Lisa to prepare oysters for you at one o’clock!

subtoall - it sounds like he might have objected or it was her expectation that he would if asked? Do you think that Stella really enjoys possessiveness - as distinct from being possessed? I sense that we may be about to find out.

Aardvarky, the intrigue gets more intense. Richard is obviously happy playing the voyeur to Stella’s exhibitionist. Being so close to the prize must sorely test Richard’s resolve.

I wonder whether Richard should go swimming after a meal, especially not knowing how far the island is away from the shore. The big unknown is what the time of year this is happening.

MBD & boobman987 - you are my most faithful correspondents and wonderful people! MBD, make sure you don't forget to log on on Thursday. Boobman, why shouldn't Richard swim to the island after a light lunch of oysters? I can understand that a heavy three course lunch with wine might not be a good idea, but you know what they say about oysters in preparation for a tryst? The island is not too far. The water is cold but not too cold. And for Richard, there will be added excitement from the covert nature of this adventure, don't you think?

I don't see any way that Stella can sneak away from Alex to meet Richard, without Alex knowing. He keeps close tabs on her, and the moment she's not in sight.... Maybe this is a setup? Alex is in on it and will 'discover the two of them on the island?

Will this be my 'cottage bedroom' scene, where she cuts him off after telling him she can't feel him inside her?

I'm sure Stella's going to lay something on Richard that he doesn't want to hear. Thus far, this has become the fantasy of his dreams. Is it about to become 'the reality that he fears most?

OK, Aaard, you've created the ultimate cliffhanger thus far in the story... don't let 'Sexy Stella' let us down!

The light lunch for Richard shouldn’t stop him swimming, it depends if he consumes alcohol with them. I reckon Richard’s libido will be in overdrive so Stella might be disappointed at how long he lasts before orgasming.

Waiting for tomorrow’s episode! You are such a tease Aardvarky.

FFDriver - Alex is in on it? Whatever could you mean FFdriver? Stella cutting off Richard after taking such trouble to find a location for their tryst? The reality Richard fears most? What could that be? One thing for sure, Stella will never let us down, will she?

I think the cold water and effort of a swim might effect my ability to get it up and perform ! Maybe the window of opportunity might not be what it seems.

katt- I am so delighted that you have joined our little band of correspondents. Thank you for commenting. As mentioned before, it is comments such as yours that makes writing fun and reassures me that I am not quite alone!

Cold water invigorates, doesn't it? A lazy Sunday, oysters for lunch, a cold dip followed by hot sex with a beautiful wife from whom you have been separated for some weeks whilst she has been having lots of sex...what could be better? Might you be a bit cynical? Or do you have concerns? Tomorrow is another day, and the day for our next episode. I will look forward to you logging in after I have posted and leaving a comment.

Hmmm... Perhaps, Richard, his excitement in overdrive as he anticipates the island rendezvous, has his lunch. As he finishes, a letter is delivered. An apology? A confession? A revelation with seismic consequences? We stand waiting on the ledge.

melani - its lovely to have you back in the comments. Richard will definitely be excited at the prospect. Not least because he doesn't know what Stella will say or do. I am however interested in the 'letter to be delivered'. You propose an apology, confession or revelation? One of the joys of anticipation is not knowing. That brings the joy of surprise, or otherwise. Not long to go now, perhaps another 15 hours to wait on the ledge!

Darling Stella,
You always have the best ideas. What a delicious thought - to reconnect in the privacy of Alex’s island! It made me recall your trip together to the beach, Alex pulling off your top, slipping the strings of your bikini briefs, making love, taking time and climaxing together with him deep inside you. Is it possible that this, or something similar awaits us?

And oysters! The perfect way to prepare for an afternoon of lovemaking. Look out for me as I swim across to meet you.

Letter 38
At the request of the Coroner for Frankland County.

I have been asked to make a statement following the tragedy that occurred at Frankland House on Sunday 18 May 2025.

Several weeks ago a merger was proposed between Tempest Partnership and the Richmond Partnership. I arrived here in Frankland two weeks ago as lead negotiator for Tempest. Alex Norton, a director of Richmond Partnership made Frankland cottage available as my accommodation for the duration of my business trip. When a successful deal was struck I arranged for my husband Richard to join me here last week for the merger signing.

After lunch, at about 1.30pm on Sunday, Richard, who was a keen wild swimmer, announced that he was going for his daily dip in the lake. I remained at Frankland Cottage, assisting the housekeeper with the weekly linen change in the front bedroom. When Richard had not returned by 2.30pm I went to search for him without success. I alerted the emergency services. His body was later found by the sub-aqua divers.

I have made arrangements to remain here at Frankland House until an autopsy has been performed. Mr Alex Norton has agreed for me to stay in his home in the interim. I will be cared for by the housekeeper, Ms Lisa Upshaw. Mr Alex Norton may be contacted at the cottage.

I am devastated following the death of my husband.

Letter 1 to Alex
Frankland House, Frankland
Alex,
Recognising that the Frankland Police are yet to make progress with their investigation, there are several important things I must share with you.

First, I need to tell you that I covertly recorded your conversation in which you asked Lisa to add the ketamine you had sourced to the oysters. In particular your voice comes through loud and clear, and your intention, even clearer.

Second, a hidden camera placed by me in the lakeside hide recorded your arrival there at 1.15pm and ten minutes later, Richard’s arrival on the shoreline at 1.25pm. It shows the moment he entered the water at 1.27pm, and the exact point at which the ketamine took effect causing him to become disorientated. It confirms a purposeful delay before you entered the water and the precise moment when you swam out to hold his head below the surface. I am confident that this will coincide with the exact time of his death. Moreover, it confirms my arrival at the lake later at 2.40pm and my actions to find him.. Between lunchtime and 2.35pm, Lisa acts as my alibi at Frankland Cottage.

The digital recording and the copies will remain secure with me, but there are conditions. I must insist that you are now to remain at the cottage. Lisa has made up your bed in the front bedroom there. I will live here in the main house supported by Lisa, who of course recognises that she has no option but to cooperate in this arrangement.

I have a further demand - that by 4.00pm tomorrow you transfer your shares in the Richmond-Tempest Partnership into my name. I think it wise in the circumstances that I control the new company.

Of course none of this would have been necessary if, three months ago you had not chosen to leave Tempest Partnership and unforgivably, to desert me.

Oh, I forgot to mention that your Richmond Partnership colleague Daniel will be joining me as my guest here at Frankland House.
