Heroes?

I think X has alluded to the fact there will be heroes as we travel further into the saga. I think about this as I check over here every so often to see if another episode has been posted.
Things I think when it comes to this story
jen is self proclaimed selfish.
Completely aware of how she controls Mike and convinces herelf that it is love.
Furthermore she convinces herself and Mike that it is the way he wants to be loved.
jen is a master maniupulator with resources to explore her own sexual universe.
Mike serves as a space station/supply ship and anchor to which she attaches herself when she is in over her head.
jen would be completely overwhelmed in a state of depravity overload if she did not have Mike to sound the alarm. Mount the rescue and bring her back.
Mike is her lifeguard. she continues to swim in riptide. He emcourages her to swim in the shark infested riptide, hoping that each time she is not devoured by a shark or taken under by the wave. Of course he risk his life and limb to save her literally because he walks with a limp. He experiences physical pain.

We know Mike is a hero, I feel that Allie is a Heroine as well. Heroes coming forward , its hard to say. Paige certainly comes to mind. She wanted to warn jen. Not sure that Jasmine as a heroine again will happen.
Paiges husband is certainly poised to be a heroe for saving his marriage, hearth and home if he does not get caught up in the malestrom that is frank tower.
frank's daughter not seen or heard from is most likely waiting in the wings.
what dark secrets does she know, what feelings does she harbor , what revenge does she want to exact?
Then there is the whole ' national security' aspect that Mike is a part of. Banks realizes that Mikes mind is too valuable an asset to let get caught up in the sordid sex games he and jen play.
Im on the edge of my seat. Hoping for the darker ending or at least two endings from which we can pick.
HeyX I hope we are not asking too much.

From X's words, "Yeah, that's what I meant ... that the next story after c&r might be called sabbatical, but there is a darker ending of c&r and if I go that route then c&r might be the last story of this saga. but at the moment I'm thinking I won't do the darker ending."


if the darker ending is used C & R would be the last book in the series. Not my choice! Not at all!

Besides Mike and Jen, I do think Allie and Jasmine are considered heroines in the story. Yes, Jasmine badmouths Jen at every opportunity (and vice versa), but I think we understand why she does that....she's still in love with Mike and Jen knows this, so they are naturally going to butt heads. I think as the story moves on and if the sex tape plot progresses, we are going to be rooting for Jasmine.

Those would be the two many secondary heroes I think. I would also consider Sam and Darren as heroes, but they are so rarely in the story currently. I suspect Paige might be one of those characters we don't see much of going forward, if Frank is involved with Mike and Jen it doesn't seem like he would be involved with her.
