I almost laughed at the expression on her face. After a few minutes of silence, she asked what he told me about the fishing trips. I shook my head and said he just told me that I should ask you did you enjoy going fishing with them.

After another silence, while she looked directly at me with a red face she replied, "Yes, they were okay but the mosquitos were often a concern."

I couldn't help myself and burst out laughing to which she asked, "What's so funny."

"Nothing, It just sounds funny because usually, you dress on a fishing trip to protect against that."

I never did get an answer to that.
