Beyond the next one, however, we'd like our readers' opinion on next steps.

Many have asked 'when will Ascending Lauren end'? This is a difficult question to answer. We are still in the lifestyle and living new memories nearly every month, which means the story is still being written and the ending unknown. That being said, as with anything, people get tired of reading about the same old thing. Lauren dates and I am the dutiful wittol. Lather, rinse, repeat. As loyal readers know, up until now, we've been staying in the lane of fictional non-fiction, meaning that every episode has, regardless of how outlandish it may have been embellished, a nugget of reality behind it. For each chapter, we've chosen some of the more titillating past experiences we and/or our friends have experienced. But now, I'm afraid the most erotic ones have been been told, and simply repeating them would just be gratuitous.

So, dear readers, we'd like to gauge an appetite for any purely fictional spinoffs. Some have expressed interest in this via private PMs and some posts here. We are often asked to expand on Caroline, Harvey, the just graduated frat brothers, and the Dactyls. Reality be damned. The characters nor the general story line would change, but events would be driven by pure imagination and fantasy, rather than any kernels of truth. In a way, this would allow for even more freedom to explore certain areas.
