Man... I am so glad I tried the free version of dreampress before shelling out money! It feels like one of those 1990 fantasy games where after each move you got three choices... You have entered the chamber. Do you 1) take the diamond, 2) open the chest, or 3 slay the dragon that is lurking in the corner. It is very primitive compared to Open AI.

I had much better success making an erotic but asexual storyline in Chat GPT, and then adding the explicit stuff. Chat GPT produces a lot of redundancy, but otherwise can write some subtle and nuances stuff, that actually notices when you make small corrections.

The funny thing is, I seldom even read the finished stories. It is the process that is so much fun. I can't wait for this technology to grow up and lose some of the anti-sex guardrails.

I mostly use Dreampress and have had success. You do have to guide the AI at times. You are correct, after you get so far in, going back and re-reading the whole story doesn’t usually happen. I save them to a file and go back much much later and read them again, often doing a lot of editing. It’s still fun though and sometimes you get some ress as l hot story lines.

Poe works well. Has a bunch of varied bots, most take “adult language.”

Poe - is that something that generates stories? I'm completely unfamiliar with these type of AI story writing things, but it would be interesting to fool around with it and see what happens. If you can, post me a link or send me a message if that's not allowed here on the board.

I have been pretty happy with Grok 3. Takes some massaging to get it in the right groove, but I love what I get.
