I just found this thread and I really like the story. I hope you'll continue. You're off to a really good start. I agree with an earlier post that maybe some longer chapters would work better, but you've got a good imagination.

You wanted a few ideas...

I think a week between classes is too long to go without getting together to work on their moves; maybe John and joyce should start meeting between classes. And since they don't want to disturb your peace and quiet at home, they both think getting together and John's will be most conducive to their long term goals as a pair. And it's such a shame that surprise snowstorm hit that same night and closed all the roads so joyce had to stay over at John's. But the extra "practice" made all the difference as they won the competition in Newcastle! And the judges were raving about their romantic and sexual chemistry that they exhibited in their dancing. One comment: "Watching them dance one could imagine that they are totally in love with each other!"

Their Newcastle win was somewhat of a surprise given how little sleep they got the night before (joyce described how stressful it was to arrive to the hotel and learn that the dance instructor had only reserved 1 room for them, and there were no other available rooms upon arriving so late because they had made a few "rest" stops on the way to Newcastle). They won't make the same mistake driving to London since their win has qualified them for the National Ballroom Dance competition. But since it's the big city, joyce would like to know if you minded if she and John made it a full weekend away for that competition. And if they win London, it's a week-long trip to Tahiti for the World Ballroom Dance Competition. Won't that be fun!

I am enjoying the build up and how things are moving along with this guy and Joyce.
As things are progressing at a slower pace, as a married woman it allows her thinking to evolve as she checks with you at every progression and receives your encouragement.
