Kum & Go has a loyal customer base. The last I heard, it ranked as the 24th largest gas & convenience store chain in the U.S., which is particularly impressive considering it's a regional chain.

My apologies for that. So much has happened, and so often, I didn't even have time to enter it into my daily journal those days. Tempted to skip all that when I get back on here and go on from there (with a few remarks to summarize all the past couple of weeks). All that would take up too much of these pages even if I can recall it all. Busy day today at work, but I'll be back (soon).

When Gigi writes, I can hear her mellifluous voice in mind, Des tells us she has no discernable accent, but then he has the pleasure of listening to her for many years, so what does he know? everyone has an accent, from the soft and pleasing southern drawl to the Aberdeen fishwife, whom I would have difficulty to understand, even although I live just 100 miles away..

It’s quite a long black out but Des’s last post seemed encouraging but the more l read it the more paranoid I become about the possibilities. However in the end I think we’ll find Des has a life and this blog means more to us than to him. Maybe we need to beg more. It’s worked in the past. Pleas Des fill us in
