If you are out there and read this, just know we are missing you. There is a relationship that forms from frequent association that is usually beneficial to everyone. I like to think we have established that relationship (speaking not only of myself but for all the regulars here on the thread). So, I hope you can feel welcomed when you return, if you return.
Now, for all the regulars here, I have my doubts about the user known as Des35. I haven't posted here for a good while, choosing to sit back and see how things develop. Des31 is absent for a month, then Des35 arrives on the scene saying he is Des31 with comments about losing his password and also changing his email that prohibits his return and is looking for the admins to reestablish his access to his account. That has been a while now and nothing. Des35 has been silent since then. I suspect something is amiss. I don't know why Des31 has been absent and if Des35 is indeed Des31 why is he not posting updates on his quest to get reinstated on his account. That should have been done within 24 hours with the admins assistance. There are a couple of other things that make me doubt Des35 is Des31, but I will keep those in reserve if I need to verify a return of Des31.
So, for the time being, I doubt the legitimacy of Des35 as Des 31. If other information becomes known then I will be happy to welcome our real Des31 back to the thread. This is something I've been holding for quite a while and just needed to get that off my chest.
To the regulars here, I truly hope Des31 is OK!! I have no info than you all have and this is just a waiting game for me going forward.

The fact of the matter is that we don't know and may not ever know what happened. There are numerous possibilities. He or she may have been seriously injured or died in some kind of accident and the other has been over wrought since. I think if they had been outed, there is a good chance that some of us would have had a PM to explain their departure. It is also possible that, as someone posed earlier, that something happened to cause them to split and emotions are too raw to write about it. Whatever it is, I still believe without any hesitation that this story of Des and Gigi has been real and that he has been as he said, chronicling their adventures in the lifestyle.

My secretary is doing the walking for me at the office. The other partners and staff have been great.
