During the 20 minute drive of course we were on the lookout for speed traps and highway patrol, etc. But I was okay, not having had anything for over two hours.

Mr. Dd told us his story about how he volunteered at age 13 to fight for the Bosnia army in that conflict. His parents were mixed religion so after that war was completed, his family was eligible for immigration to the U.S. He said he basically supported himself with petty theft until he reached age 18 and then got some more serious employment. He also said he avoids law enforcement and generally carries a gun wherever he goes. I deduced these two guys Mr. Ed and Mr. Dd are probably not good people (understatement!). He continued with his story and pointed out the club where he had worked, but that it was now closed down because of a shooting/death some time ago.

Let's revisit the club situation. The guys had indicated a plan to go to the upscale strip club/lounge (in their words) but once Pinky realized what they were saying, she said "NO WAY" and got into an argument with Mr. Dd. He ended up backing down, and called his friend who was working the red rope at a popular club, and arranged for us to be granted entrance with no cover charge and no waiting. New plan, and communicated to the other car.

We arrived downtown and parked. Mr. Dd snapped some selfies with Pinky and she cautioned him to let her review before posting on social media (as if). We walked over to the red rope and were, as promised led inside. The other car also had arrived and they joined up with us as we entered.

We were told the rooftop is the place to be, so up we went. There were three floors of warehouse-type club with bars on all levels. It was very well attended, and the line outside went down and around the block. We found a spot up top, not far from the bar. When Pinky walked past a group of young guys, they said "Oh, now the party is ready to begin!" We ordered a round of drinks and the Dan Marino guy immediately got a lot of attention from other fans of Dan Marino and/or the Dolphins. Pinky was swaying her hips to the music and Mr. Ed was mesmerized and locked onto her. The Croatian guys were at home here and seemed to know their way around.

Some young guy came directly up to me and asked "Do you know Krispy Kreme donuts? Are they firm or soft?" to which I answered I've been in a Krispy Kreme production store and received the donut hot off the line and they are generally soft, especially when warm and fresh. He accepted the answer and immediately moved along, with his little entourage in tow. I thought about it and deduced I'd just been approached for the purchase of illegal substances, with some kind of secret code that I did not understand.

After about 10 minutes, Pinky came up to me and interrupted my conversation with some other guys who had asked me about my jacket (as a cover conversation to check out Pinky). She said that she was going to "take a walk" with Mr. Ed and would be back after a while. I thanked her for communicating with me and watched her walk away, her arm looped under the arm of Mr. Ed.

I also find the nervous humor in this. Obviously, we are fine and I'm writing the narrative. But there are lessons to learn here.

I was (and am) so surprised, perplexed and intrigued by Pinky's interest in this thuggy kind of guy. This is a facet I never knew existed.

I see it as a peek into her that she never previously revealed.

I'm still wondering if it's the "bad boy" thing or the aggressive male thing or something else.

I will say, as a side note, that we were easily the oldest people in the whole place. Let's remember, it was about 12:45 a.m. at this point. There must have been over 1,000 people inside, the three levels. Average age probably 25 but some older, some younger. Many looked like they must have had fake id's because didn't even look 21.

But that's just describing the landscape.

At least once every five minutes, someone would approach or walk by Pinky and tell her how hot she is. More women than men did this. Talk about an ego boost!

And, to boot, the guys who were talking to me were asking about my style, my secret to success with women, etc. I was chuckling under my breath. They asked "What were you doing between ages 25 and 30?" and my answer was that I was working my ass off, way too many hours, and my social life was essentially zero. And about every 10 minutes, one young woman or another would be walking by me with their friends and stop to exclaim "wow, you're so hot!" and I received my ego boost.

Quite a night, quite a place.

Sorry guys I'm sidetracked right now. We are in the hotel room and SW just got out of the shower, running around naked in the early stages of getting ready to head out to dinner.

I tracked them walking away, our of the side of my vision, and saw that they headed the long way around the place. Obviously, Mr. Ed wanted to get her in a one-on-one situation. She was willing to go there with him, I suppose to see what he might be wanting to say, etc.

And just as she'd said, they were going for walk and would be back shortly. I was involved in a conversation while they were gone, and ordered a vodka tonic, received and paid for it, and also got a drink for Dan Marino guy and his girl.

Pinky came back with Mr. Ed just after that. So I'm guessing 10-15 min total.

She was favoring one leg. She has a sore knee from when she was dancing about five weeks ago, with the tall black athletic guy when we were out with Ms. P. She was leaning into him and getting fancy with one leg up high across his abdomen and lost balance and fell that night. Well, her imbalance came back around while she was with Mr. Ed and she lost her footing and fell, on the same knee. She'd hobbled back to us with Mr. Ed's assistance.

He sat down over by his friend, and she came over by me and Mr. Dan Marino and his girl. She was messing with her stuff and seemed a bit self-conscious. I looked over at Mr. Ed and he kind of looked away. Pinky then fidgeted with her bag and pulled out lip gloss and reapplied to her lips. I looked again at Mr. Ed and saw a hint of lip gloss on his lips, and he was kind of subconsciously smacking them together.

I saw her then fiddling with her phone and was able to glimpse a text message from her to him (Mr. Ed) that said "Monday". And his immediate reply with a heart and kissing emoji. I also committed his phone number to memory, as best I could.

She said the her knee is really painful and that she wants to leave. I made sure we were closed out and got some waters to drink while working our way down to the exit. We took Mr. Dan Marino and his girl. Kind of ended up carrying Pinky to the car, she was so uncomfortable. And we drove the 20 min back to their place, dropped them off, and then the 10 minutes to our hotel. It was about 2:15 a.m. Then fell into bed and slept.

Unless she spills the beans this needs to come up in the next therapy session, as a surprise so she doesn't have time to concoct a story. Put her on the spot.

Sorry to hear that 4th of July didn't pan out the way you wanted. I would like to think that when SW knew that Mr B was definitely bringing a date, she no longer wanted to go. I think the fight could've been a premeditated or may have been an unintended outburst due to the frustrations bubbling inside.

Really excited to hear about Pinky out in her hometown with a vengeance. It seems she has two criteria for the men she entertains. Firstly they must be big manly guys (Ed, Mr S and Mr B all seem to fit that criteria) and secondly they must pursue her.

I am certain that was Mr J to pursue her, she would play along but she doesn't want to take the first step. From the looks of it, she is afraid of being rejected and is probably used to being pursued. A lot of her self-esteem and confidence is probably drawn from the attention and compliments she receives. And that self-esteem/confidence can be shaken just as easily by being rejected.

Hopefully there is more to this story with Ed.
