Yes, he did seem to suffer from a bit of holy-shit intimidation, from what S told me. She said he's a bit geeky, and lacking much recent experience outside of his newly-ex-marriage. But all evidence suggests he is/was massively into her. Maybe even too much, she thought.

I think one cause for the angst this lifestyle sometimes generates has to do with perception: often the people involved can see things only one way; from their point of view.

For instance PBF, in your early days, when Hottie returned from Marc and you were having trouble getting Mr. I'm Not Going To Get Erect to cooperate. You didn't tell her all that was going through your mind, and she, in turn, initially seemed reluctant to put all the details out there, (if my memory is correct) including her feelings. One of the things I learned in leadership training was to consciously put yourself in the other person's place: create a mental picture of what the experience must have looked or felt like for them.

Sadly, not all men, or women for that matter, understand how doing so could bring the two closer together; perhaps diffuse a suddenly tense situation. Veterans of this lifestyle have stated it's not for the faint of heart. How right they are.

Thank you, PlayboyFan. I understand that people who were not in that given situation were a bit more harsh judging (maybe I would be too), but I was there and I met the guy. With all the chemistry present and his effort, I just couldn't be upset at him and also really did want to give him another chance because A) I think he deserved it and B) I wanted another chance to discover how good it could actually be.

I am really pleased I did because it was amazing! He definitely knows what he's doing and he's very good at it!
